I let out a groan when my alarm clock went off. I turned on my side to shut it off and threw off the covers. I sat up and stretched my arms out before making my way downstairs. The smell of bacon and cinnamon invaded my nose, not that I minded.  Seems like breakfast is gonna be good today. As I walked into the kitchen I let out a yawn and one more cat-like stretch. "Good morning Mo-" I froze.

There standing at the stove was not my mother, but a certain dark haired teen. Not to mention shirtless, and wearing basketball shorts. He ran a hand through his dark locks, sweeping them out of his face. My gaze lowered back down to his shirtless self, noticing how lean yet toned he was. "Morning to you too, Bambina, are you gonna keep checking me out or do you want some actual food? I wouldn't turn you down if wanted to eat me instead though," Lukas winked at me, his mouth forming into a sly grin.

"What is it with boys walking around shirtless all the time?" I mumbled to myself, trying to ignore the heat on my face as I got a plate and filled it with bacon and some french toast.

"Because we like to share our handsomeness with the world instead of keeping it to ourselves, it's not cool being selfish."

I looked over at him and then it hit me, "Wait a minute, why the hell are you even here in the first place?"

"You know, it took you about 25 minutes to realize that, but your Mom wouldn't let me go home. She told me to stay the night, so I did," Lukas sat down next to me and started eating.

"Alright, since your here, want to head over to the twins? We planned on having a small pool tournament," I looked at him, waiting for a response.

"Sure why not, who all is gonna be there?"

"Well, the twins obviously, but I think Ethan and Eric, not sure if Alana will show up though."

He got up and took our plates to the sink before turning to me, "when are we heading over?"

I just gave a shrug, mumbling a 'whenever' and checked my phone. " I mean, we could head there now if you wanted to," I looked up at him in question.

"Sure, can I use the shower though?"

"Yeah, I mean there's one in my brother's room so.."

"Sweet, meet back down here in 15?"

"Right," I got up and pushed in my chair, making my way upstairs.

I started rummaging through my closet before settling with a pair of whitewashed jeans and a black tank top. I took a quick shower before changing into the clothes and blow drying my hair. I wasn't feeling particularly motivated to do anything with my hair so I just threw it into a high ponytail. I grabbed one of my light blue zip-up hoodies, slipped on a pair of sneakers and headed downstairs. "Luka, are you ready yet?"

After receiving no response, I sighed and made my way back upstairs and knocked on the bedroom door. "Yo beauty queen, you ready y-" I was cut off with the door opening.

"I prefer King, but I don't mind you taking the Queen title, I mean every King needs a Queen," he looked me over with his trademark wolfish smirk and wink.

I just rolled my eyes, "Your pickup lines get more and more cringe-worthy every time, can't you just give up already?"

He let out an exaggerated gasp, "Now where would be the fun in that? Gotta keep things entertaining, ya know?"

"Yeah yeah, now let's go," I made my way back downstairs and out the door, texting Mom about my whereabouts.
