Felix took my hand as he stared to walk towards his rehearsal studio. It was nice to hold his hand, he held mine with a steady grip, he didn't want to let it go. We crossed the rived and went past the old diary, it had really fallen to pieces. He led me behind it and in to one of the buildings. As we entered, I could hear guitars playing.
-I'm on time and they still couldn't wait, he said and laughed.
-Are you usually late, or what? I asked.
-Not really, I'm usually the one on time, he said and laughed.
We walked inside and as we did, they all stared at us. I got really uncomfortable and looked down to the floor.
-Hey guys, she's with me today, hope that's alright.
-Of course! Liam said and walked towards us. Hi! I hope we didn't scare you off last time, this dude here got all worked up when he wasn't able to find you. He looked at Felix and winked at him.
-Yeah, sorry about that, I said and glanced at Felix.
-No sorry ok? He and smiled.
-I'm not comfortable around too many people, I said.
-We know, Johnny came forward and shook my hand. It's alright though, we get it, fans CAN be a pain in the ass sometimes, he laughed and looked at Liam.
-That's for sure. Liam replied and rolled his eyes.
-Should we get started, Travis asked.
-Yeah! The other four said at once.
I took a seat at the worn-down sofa that was placed against the right wall as they started to play. These guys were a group of geniuses, everything just flowed and if they made any mistakes, I couldn't hear them.
After a couple of songs Johnny said that he had something to tell everyone.
-After the show last weekend an agent contacted me and...
-What? The other screamed at the same time.
-Yeah, he wants to help us release an album and go on a small tour.
-That's amazing! Travis yelled.
-When's the tour start?! Felix asked.
They all hugged, asked tons of questions. I felt a bit left out but I knew that this what they all had worked so hard for, it was finally paying off. I was very happy for them, I know how it feels to have a dream come true. They were all cheering and after a while I stood up, Felix looked at me. I pointed to the door and mimicked "I'll call you later", as I turned to walk out the door someone grabbed my wrist, I turned around and it was Felix.
-Hey, you don't have to leave, I want you here.
-I know, but it feels like you guys have tons to talk about and I can't really participate in that.
-I know, but please don't leave.
-Ok, do you have pen and paper or something? So I can do something at the meantime?
-Yeah, at least I think so, I might have some in my bag, he said as he emptied his whole bag on the sofa. Luckily, he had a notepad and a pen.
He gave them to me and I sat down again and started to doodle away. They had an intense discussion, what songs to put on the album, new songs they had in stock etc. I don't know for how long it went on but when my stomach started to make a growling sound, I knew it was time for me to leave. I waved towards Felix and he walked up to me, I told him I had to get home to get something to eat, he laughed when he heard my stomach make its sounds again. He said he would call me later or come over if it didn't get too late.
