When I finished my masterpiece, I put my forearms under his pits, and attempted to drag him downstairs, but it didn't work according to plan. I made it down the hallway, and when I got to the stairs, I knew I was not going to make it on my own with out breaking a few of his limbs. It was tempting, but maybe a little too harsh. I grabbed his matress, put it on the stairs, and threw him on it. I then gave it a shove and down it went, bumping step after step. I ran down the stairs after it, and picked him back up. I dragged him out to the car, and put him in the passenger's seat. I hopped in the drivers seat, turned on the car, and started driving to a resturant. When we got there, I tried waking him up.
"Josh? Josh?" I was moving his head again. I checked the time, and he was due to wake up in roughly five minutes. Being an impatient girl, I didn't like waiting. I knew what I had to do, I knew I would enjoy it. I slapped him in the face really hard, and he woke up.
"What the hell was that for? Wait, where are we?" He asked with a little panic in his voice while sitting up.
"Well, that was for falling asleep while I was telling a story, and we are at a resturant. You must not remember anything." I was trying not to laugh at what he looked like, and trying to lie my best.
"I really don't the last thing I remember was..." He looked at me suspiciously, and I just smiled.
"Come on Josh, I'm trying to make amends here." He then relaxed a little.
"Fine," He rolled his eyes.
"Good, now let's go in shall we?"
"Cool. You're paying." He got out, and I rolled my eyes.
"So gentlemanly," I said sarcastically. I got out as well, and we walked into the shop. I saw people stare at him in confusion and I tried not to laugh. Soon enough, we sat down, and he asked,
"Where's Matt?"
"Oh, he couldn't come." The waitress came, and I saw her smile. I knew her from one of the parties I went to. She was a pretty one.
"Hi, my name is Chantal, and I will be your server today." I could also see she was stifling a laugh. He looked at me, and made sure I was watching.
"Hello, Chantal. How are you doing? My name's Josh."
"Um, okay?"
"Yeah. I'm also a musician." The fact that he was trying to hit on her to get on my nerves made it even funnier.
"I totally thought you worked at the circus. My bad."
"Wait, what?" He wiped his mouth and a bunch of red came off. I tried not to laugh, and tilted my head down. He slowly turned his head to me. "Brooke, what did you do?" He asked with his teeth clenched. I burst out laughing. I couldn't even speak.
"Nice one Brooke. One of your signature pranks I see." I finally calmed down, and took deep breaths.
"Whoa. How do you know Brooke?"
"We went to the same party. She's quite the party animal."
"Well played Brooke. In a well-populated resturant, wearing clown makeup. Don't hope for a retreat."
"I'm looking forward to this battle." We shook hands and sat there, glaring at each other viciously.
"So, are you guys going to order?"
"No, I have to go home and wash this off thanks to someone."
"I have to go home, and watch him try to wash off all this waterproof makeup." He glared at me. It would seem like a pointless visit, but it was a great time. Well...for me anyways.
We went home, and things were pretty quiet. We kind of just stayed away from each other for once. Of course, I still had a prank in the works for him. Something that would attack his pretty boy side pretty harshly.
It had now been two days, and I had been careful with everthing. I checked the doors to make sure nothing would spill on m, and I checked the sink taps to make sure they weren't unscrewed. I made sure I packed a "survival" kit, and got dry towels. I had to be extra safe.
Since things were going smoothly I decided it was okay to do some things. Like, take a shower. I turned on the water, and started washing.
When I got out of the shower, my hair felt sticky, and a little slimy. I decided to let it slide, and I wrapped myself in a towel, and went to blow dry my hair. I went, sat down, and turned on my hair dyer. To my surprise, a bunch of baby powder blasted into my face, and hair. My hair whipped into my wide open mouth, and it tasted like honey. I ran into my bathroom again, and opened my shampoo bottle; Honey. In anger, I quickly walked down the hall, to see Josh walking to the middle of the hall as well, with a towel on his head, and around his waist. Fury was portrayed on his face.
"Why did you do this to me!?" I yelled at him as we met in the middle.
"Because I knew you would do something liked this to me!" He ripped off the towel, and he had bright pink hair. "What I did to you wasn't permanent!"
"At least you don't smell like babies, and the inside of a beehive!" Matt ran up the stairs.
"What are you doing?" He yelled.
"He messed with my hair."
"She messed with MY hair." Matt grasped the bridge of his nose and sighed.
"Guys, I'm getting tired of this. It's like taking care of toddlers! Now this is how it's going to work. Josh, you will stay away from Brooke, and vice versa! Actually, you know what? I don't care. Do whatever you want! Just keep it to yourselves." He then turned and walked away.
"You better watch your back Ramsay."
"Back at you Matthews." We then both walked back to our rooms completely fuming. Ugh, I hated him so much! Yet... there was something about him that just made me tingle inside. Something...special.
***Author's Note***
Hope you're liking it so far! Damn, it's really hard coming up with pranks. I got a lot more though! Oh, and I thought I would try to throw some romance in there earlier on. New chapter tomorrow!
