"Soulmate"
What if your soulmate was the voice inside your head? Or the reason you felt sad for no reason at all sometimes? The reason you randomly burst into song because your soulmate decided to do a duet in the shower? The reason you look at the stars and smile because you know deep down somewhere, they're staring up at the same sky, thinking the same thing.
"I wish you were here. If I knew how to find you. I think of you where-ever you are, and I hope one day, our souls will blend." And its just like the wind blows through your hair softly, and you know your message is being carried on by way of heart.
And then ever so often, you feel a slight tug on that little red string and then suddenly...
There they are.
And for the first time...
In a long time...
Everything makes sense...
And he says to you:
"I don't think we've been properly introduced," he says, flashing a cheeky grin as he stares at you with those mesmerizing blue eyes. You cock a curious brow, brown eyes glinting cognac as light hits them.
"I'm Tom. What's your name, love?"
"_______" you blurt out, wincing slightly, but he just chuckles as you smile awkwardly.
There's the tug again...
And you know then...
You found love in a hopeless place.
