Shared Powers : The four holy artifacts react weirdly to Wei and Lan's relationship, feelings and situations.
This time, the artifacts let Lan use Wei's powers when he is in danger, despite Lan being a normal human and not from Dixing.

The Envoy hisses in frustration, he is surrounded from all sides by creatures from Dixing. He has no problems facing them, he can take them all out in a single blow but he knows that Lan is going to run out bullets soon. And they keep coming and coming, it's like, if he slays one, two or three more creatures take the dead one's place.
They should have called the SID team, but there was no time for that. They thought that it would only be a simple investigation for clues for the case they were working on, that's why only Lan and Wei went to the place.
But as soon as they reached, they were surrounded and the creatures started attacking them. That's why they weren't able to contact the team. They shouldn't have turned down Chu's offer of coming with them, just in case. Lan and Wei had no clue that the criminal was capable of controlling creatures. It's always the normal looking ones.
The Envoy is distracted, he cannot hear the sound of Lan's gun anymore, before he can turn, he himself is surrounded, again. But he can feel Lan's shock through their shared bond and connection and the Envoy shouts, screams in fury and worry.
He uses his weapon to take down all the creatures in one go, he really shouldn't be over using his powers but he can't help it. He sways lightly and coughs up a little blood, he ignores the pain in his protesting body and rushes towards the place Lan is lying face down.
Wei's weapon disappears, he lowers his hood and his mask his gone in an instant. He kneels down next to Lan and gently places Lan's head on his lap.
"Yun Lan? Can you open your eyes, please?"
Lan doesn't respond.
Wei suppresses the panic that is threatening to make an appearance. He wastes no time, he raises his hand to use his powers to heal Lan but he is stopped as Lan suddenly grabs him and grins at him.
Was Lan actually been pretending to be unconscious, a few minutes back? Wei feels his eyes narrow, this is not the time to be playing games! Wei was seriously worried about the reckless idiot.
Lan sits up and his eyes are glowing. "Did you see that?"
Wei shakes his head. What did he miss?
Lan's eyes dim a little. But he shakes his head and smiles. He gets up, dusts himself off and helps Wei stands up. Lan is jumping like an energetic puppy and Wei is worried but he can't help but smile. What is he so excited about?
Lan waves his hand in a super hero and cool gesture, nothing happens for sometime. Wei simply raises his eyebrows.
Lan just sticks out his tongue at Wei and keeps his palms facing upwards in mid air, near his chest. Wei's eyes widen as dark spheres of energy appear on Lan's palms.
How can this be? Lan is not from Dixing. After the incident with Zun, Lan lost his Dixing powers and became a normal human. The serum which affected Lan's body, temporarily giving him extreme mutation of Dixing powers was not in his body anymore, not even traces.
Wei blinks and Lan just grins. It looks like Lan is not in any pain or discomfort. Wei scans him immediately, there are no abnormalities in Lan's body, no injuries, external or internal, physical or emotional or mental, no scars.
