Chapter 3

~TRIS POV~

Tobias just left to go and run some errands. I am making chicken pasta for dinner. I am almost done when Tobias walks through the front door.

"Hey I'm home!" He always likes to yell that when he gets home. It makes him happy for some reason, but it makes him happy, it makes me happy. "Is that chicken pasta I smell?"

"Indeed it is my love." I reply.

He comes up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist. And I lean back into him. He puts his chin on the top of my head and we just stand there until dinner is ready.

We eat in silence, this is normal for us because we were both raised by very, abnegation like family's. Well I was at least. Tobias's father was abusive but other than that acted like your average stiff.

Once we finish eating we clean up and Tobias comes over to me and asks, "Shall we go pack my lady?"

"Yes we shall." We hook arms and skip upstairs into our room laughing. Once we get in there I kiss him on the cheek and go over to my side of the room and start to pack and so does Tobias.

"Done." We both say at the same time as we plop down onto our bed. We laugh and I look over at him only to see him already looking at me. I lean in to kiss him and so does he. His hand cups my cheek. Our lips moving in perfect synchronization. Be have been together for 2 years, yet every time we kiss I explode inside. But we still haven't done it. I got over my fear of intimacy not to long ago, but he doesn't know that. I want it to happen when the time is right.

We pull apart, breathing heavily. I take my shirt off so I can sleep in my sports bra and my sweats, so does Tobias. I snuggle into him and he kisses my head, "I love you Tris."

I would have said it back but I was already to far gone. I soon fall into a deep slumber.

I wake up in the morning with Tobias's arms protectively wrapped around me. I turn so I am facing him and kiss him. At first he is unresponsive but then he starts to kiss back. He rolls us over do that normally he would be on top, but he rolled the wrong way so we fall of the bed with a thud. I am laughing as I am laying on his chest. He just looks shocked, which makes me laugh even more.

"Shut up. It's not that funny." He says. I just look at him until he says, "Okay, maybe it is." And he starts laughing too. I look at the clock, 1:00 pm.

"Shit. I didn't realize how late it was." He chuckles and we get up.

"Since we are both already packed why don't we go ahead and go to the camp grounds today." He says.

"Okay! I'll text the group."

Hey guys! Me and Four are going to head out to the lake today. But you guys can still head out there tomorrow. Ily -me

"Okay. It's taken care of. Lets go!" I say.

He picks me up and throws me over his shoulder. And runs out to the truck. All of out bags are already in the bed of the truck. I guess he did that while I was texting. How sweet.

We get in the truck and drive off to the lake. This week is going to be so much fun!
