4 years later.

"Mommy! Wake up! I'm going to be late for school!" I heard a little squeaky voice say. I could feel a small hand tapping my arm. "Mommy!"

I groaned as I opened my eyes. My beautiful little daughter was staring at me with her big honey brown eyes—the only thing she inherited from me.

"What time is it, Minyeon?" I asked sleepily.

"It's almost eight, Mommy."

"What!?" I gasped and quickly ran to the bathroom. I finished my morning routine and dressed as quickly as I could. It was ten minutes past eight. I had only twenty more minutes to drive Minnie to her school.

I ran downstairs and was about to grab an apple for Minnie and myself, when I saw that she was already eating one.

"Here Mommy," She said, handing me an apple. "I washed it properly for you."

"Thank you, Minnie." I said lovingly as I placed a kiss on her head. My daughter was indeed a blessing. She was so obedient and extremely intelligent for a four year old.

I drove her to school and then drove to my best friend, Eunyeon's house, which was just three minutes away from Minyeon's school.

I reached the apartment and parked in Taeyong's spot. I knew he wouldn't be home until evening due to work.

Eunyeon and Taeyong got married a year after I moved to Shanghai and now they have fraternal twins who are three years old—a year younger than my daughter.

I entered the password to Eunyeon's house and got in. She was sitting on the couch, reading the newspaper.

"Good morning, Eunyeon!" I said.

"Morning, Naru. Have you seen the newspaper today morning?" She asked while looking at me.

I shook my head. "Why?"

"He's... in it." She said hesitantly.

I knew who she was talking about. I felt my stomach churn at the thought of him. Even though it's been four years, I wasn't able to move on. How could I, when I knew him my entire life and we got married and now have a child who he doesn't even know exists?

"What about it?" I asked, trying to cover my sadness. She handed me the newspaper.

Right on the front page was a large picture of him. He wasn't smiling, he looked the same—only difference was he was thinner and has pink hair. And yet, he still looked as handsome as ever. The caption below read:

Na Jaemin, CEO of Na Enterprise Holdings Inc., also known as the youngest CEO in South of Korea is starting a new project with his business partner and in-laws' company, Choi Nari Inc., by the last week of October.

"I thought my father would change the name of his company." I murmured to myself. The company was clearly named after me and Nori.

"Naru, he may have stopped talking to you, but he's your father. I know he still loves you." Eunyeon said in a soft tone. She knew I was quite sensitive about this topic.

"I don't know. Even my mother doesn't want to talk to me. They didn't even believe me when I told them what... what... he did. Only Nori supported me." I said sadly, my eyes filling with tears.

Eunyeon got off the couch and pulled me into a tight hug. "I'm here for you, Naru. Always."

I knew her words were true. She helped me with everything from the very beginning. She got me a place to stay and helped me with my pregnancy. She got so many clients for me since I was an interior designer at the moment. She always comforted me and gave me advice. I couldn't have asked for a better best friend. Even Taeyong was there for me. I didn't really mind third wheeling them, they made me feel so comfortable around then. They were Minyeon's godparents.
