"Finally done!" I exclaimed as I wiped a bead of sweat from my forehead. I just finished organizing my wardrobe. It was so large and had so many drawers that I couldn't remember where I kept what.

It's been only a day since I arrived in Seoul. Minyeon would be starting school tomorrow and I'll be visiting my father at the hospital after dropping her. I was hoping that everything would go well. I felt so nervous at the thought of seeing my parents after four years.

"Mommy! Dinner is here!" I heard Minyeon yell. We decided to order Chinese takeout since it's her favorite.

I went to open the door and paid the delivery man. As soon as I set the the boxes on the table, Minyeon immediately opened hers and started eating really fast.

"Minnie, slow down please, you might choke!" I said, my voice laced with worry at the sight of my four year daughter eating at a cheetahs pace.

She slowed down and smiled at me. "Sorry Mommy, the food is so yummy!"

I smiled and placed a kiss on her head before digging into my own food. After we finished eating, I helped her wash up and then put her to sleep.

I was just about to close her door when she sadly said, "What if no one likes me?"

"Minnie, don't worry. I'm sure everyone will love you." I reassured her.

"Promise, Mommy?"

"I promise, honey."

"Okay, goodnight Mommy"

"Goodnight Minnie." I said and closed her door.

I dropped Minnie to school and spoke to some of her teachers before heading to the hospital. My stomach was churning with nervousness. I parked my car and headed inside. I walked up to the receptionist who seemed to not care about her job at all. She was busy typing on her phone.

"Excuse me?" I said. She didn't respond.

"I said excuse me." I said louder with anger. She finally looked up at me with a bored expression before it changed to a dumbfounded one.

"O-Oh, Mrs. Na, h-how may I-I h-help you?" She stuttered.

"Please call me Miss Choi. I'd like to know which room my father—I mean Mr. Choi Shinheo is in." I said.

"He's in r-room number 402 on the fourth f-floor, next to Miss C-Choi Nori's o-office."

"Thank you." I said softly before entering the elevator. There was a young man wearing a doctor's coat standing inside.

"Excuse me, are you Dr. Choi Nori's sister?" The man asked. He had a very deep voice.

"Yes, I am. How did you know?" I asked.

"She's my colleague as well as my best friend. She's told me a lot about you," He said and then stuck his hand out. "I'm Park Jisung."

I shook his hand. "Choi Naru. I've heard a lot about you as well from Nori."

"Hope she told you all nice things." He said with a chuckle.

"Of course." I chuckled as well. The elevator door opened and we both got out. Jisung left for a surgery while I walked towards my father's room.

I hesitated for a few minutes before I finally found the courage to knock on the door.

"Come in." I heard my father say weakly. His voice was still the same.

I took a deep breath before going in and closing the door behind me. Both my parents were in the room. My mother was sitting on a chair next to my father who was lying down on the hospital bed with a drip connected to his hand. They both looked exactly the same. It doesn't even look like they aged. They immediately looked at me monotonously. The atmosphere was rigid and awkward.
