Lauren walked on stage. My heart was pounding. "Let's try this again." She giggled. "I'm going to sing my new single 18 inches." Lauren started singing and I felt like it was the best she has ever sang in her life. She did so amazing. She hit all the right notes and everything and I was so proud of her. At the end the Opry audience gave her a standing ovation and started roaring with claps and screams. Then they started chanting "Lauren! Lauren! Lauren!" Over and over again. Lauren had the bigget smile on her face and I was crying tears of joy. Lauren ran off stage over to me and gave me a big hug. "That was the best I've ever heard you sing Lauren! That was amazing! Are you proud of yourself?" "Yeah. I'm happy thaat I even got a second chance." After the show Lauren went outside to meet fans and hundreds of people were telling her how amazing she did which made Lauren feel so good about herself. Even all of the other people performing at the show like Carrie and Miranda were telling her how amazing she did. I could tell Lauren was so proud of herself.
