'Redfort' was the only word of welcome Ruby got as she walked in. LB looked beautiful in her white dress. Ruby had guessed before, that she wasn't going to change her 'well known white attire' so soon. She wouldn't either, it would just rouse unwanted attention, criticism and who knows what?
'Let's get straight to the point.'
'I thought you were going to say we could get a shake before.' Ruby drawled, sarcastically. Maybe she could lighten up her mood? She knew that 99.99% what she just proposed would not happen. But... there was still that possibility of the 0.01%.
'Let's go.' Said LB surprisingly and got up from her pristine white chair, letting her long skirt dance about her. Ruby, abruptly looked up. This was not something which would happen every day.
'Umm... sure,' said Ruby uneasily, it was only a joke! Who wanted a white-clad, person who never smiled, correction HARDLY smiled ( but Ruby knew 100% she wouldn't smile on this occasion), and was their present boss to have a milkshake with them. CRAZY! What had got into her today?
'Redfort, stop wasting my time and get your self to the car park pronto.' She sighed.
Ruby, bewildered, betook herself to the car park. But LB was already there, apparently.
'Are you a ghost or something? Or can you teleport? I swear I just saw you in your room like 5 minutes ago!'
'Maybe you just aren't fast enough.'
'I am pretty fast actually, and not an idiot either.'
'Good because otherwise, you wouldn't be in Spectrum.'
Ruby just muttered under her breath, this is getting weirder and weirder.
'I just forgot something in my office. Stay put.' She commanded and strode off to the left.
'You know you're going the wrong way? Your office is to the right and you're going to the left?' Suggested Ruby but she was just met with an angry glare. This wasn't LB? If it was then she was suffering some sort of mental disorder. It wasn't like LB to forget where she was going. Who was this weirdo and what did they want?
