Ruby dashed out the car park. She had always known it- car parks were evil places because evil people always seemed to turn up there... of all places, a car park? Ughh, she was going mad, the one person she needed now was Clancy Crew. He was sure to know which way the exit was if LB didn't.
"Clance man. I'm going crazy!"
"Is that meant to be unusual?"
"I'm not kidding! Like this is not the time. First LB goes for a milkshake. A MILKSHAKE, OK. I know it's weird, but a milkshake? Really? Then she appears to forget which way the exit was!"
"You know, I think I know what you mean about me being hyper. Coz you've just given me a pretty big example right there."
"Yeah. Well, it's not usual..." she was cut off. This was the problem with being a teenage secret agent- you've got friends, some very nosy ones too. But on the whole, you've got to think of lame excuses and a few lies for the garnishing.
"Heya Clance and Ruby!" It was Del, trust her to scream hi to you from the other side of the room- which more often than not turned all eyes and ears to their table and conversation.
"Del, how many times have a told you to NOT scream our name when you're standing on the other side of the room?" moaned Ruby.
"Don't get your knickers in a twist- a bit of attention doesn't hurt anyone. In fact, it makes you taller. So we can clearly see that some people have a deficiency here."
"Thank you, Miss pharmacist, but I'm afraid I'm allergic to attention. Got anything else?" Del completely ignored her, there was one thing which was declared impossible to do- win against Ruby in an argument.
"Hey Clance, you ready for swimming this Tuesday, I don't think old Soggy will accept that you've got measles or chicken pox tomorrow."
"Yup. I personally think that he'll come himself to your house and drag you to the swimming pool." Said Red as she came and sat by Del. Clancy shivered, his father would kill him for not going swimming (Ambassador Crew was a great swimmer- or so he told his son), his mother would kill him as she didn't like him skipping school, his sisters would kill him anyway. He certainly lived a miserable life, but it was quite funny.
If that didn't make everything worse, then him being scared to death of water did
"You know, I think jumping off a 10-foot tall building is better than swimming." Ruby laughed. "How can YOU laugh? You don't have to be buried under snow every Tuesday." moaned Clancy.
