Silence.Silence filled the hospital room as Monika laid there in the hospital bed with a oxygen tube hooked up to her mouth and a tube that was going through her stomach and was connected into her right lung.We didn't know what the damage was but we could already it was awful and gonna be bad as Jones had been crying and worried ever since she shot.Natsuki was alright despite having a few cuts and a bruise.She was in a different room down the hall as she couldn't bear seeing Monika like this, but she wanted me to get info on Monika's condition.

Apparently there was a shooter or more appropriately, a terrorist.He had a pistol and a bomb that was strapped to his chest.He had killed 2 students, 14 parents, 4 other child that weren't students, and injured about 7 others, Monika included.A few hours after the attack, when everything had calmed down and everyone was a,right.The school just mailed the Papers and summer began...but this wasn't how we wanted summer to begin...now with Monika lying here in a hospital bed hooked up to a machine.

This took a huge toll on Jones, he felt awful about not protecting her but we assured him that there was nothing we or he could've done in time.He wasn't angry at Natsuki or me or anything, he told me that himself.He just wished that Monika and Natsuki were in a different row or that he was up there.Sayroi had been crying almost as much as him as she loved each of us so much, Yuri cried a little, and me....I didn't know what to do...I did let a few tears out but other than that I was at a lost of words...

Monikas parents had been crying for hours and stayed with Monika for at least the entire day until they got too tired and decided that they would revisit tomorrow.They were heartbroken, and it crushed them to see their daughter who went from being a silly small little girl to becoming a intelligent, beautiful, and successful women....and then having it ripped away from you..and watching her live and solely depend on a machine for survival.*Knock* *Knock*

"Hi, I'm assuming all of you are her friends?Where are her parents?"Said the Nurse that came in."Monika's parents are gone, they said that they would come back tomorrow..."I said as the Nurse nodded and said."Ok then, well, I have your friends results or reports."She then cleared her throat as we all paid attention to what she was about to tell us."Monika was shot in her stomach and chest, one of the bullets penetrated through her lungs which is causing her right lung to fill up with blood which explains the tube.She has internal bleeding in 2 spots, her stomach and lung.Her chances of survival are extremely low....death will be by drowning from her lung filling up with blood...I'm very sorry...."

Tears fell from everyone's eyes as the Nurse said those words."T-Thank you...an-anything el-else...?"Jones voice rang out as the Nurse responded with."...No....again, I'm very sorry..."She said as she left, leaving us in silence.

Natsuki's POV

I sat there in silence as I waited for the door to open.Then it opened and In came Y/N, he looked grim...I instantly got worried.I then sat up and asked."How's Monika...?!"He sat down and looked at me and said."S-She has a punctured lung that is filling up with blood, they'll have to do surgery, and she has internal bleeding....her chances of survival are extremely low..."He said as I felt tears begin to stream from my eye as Y/an brought me into a hug.

"Shh...it's ok Natsuki....it's ok..."He said as he tried to comfort me."I-I want t-to go see h-her...."I said after a minute of me crying my eye out."Ok then..."He said as I wiped my face, we then got up and walked down the hall towards Monika's room.

We then both walked in a and I was met with a awful sight as Monika laid there hooked up to a Machine as a tube ran from her stomach to a big bad that was slowly being filled up by blood and a oxygen masked placed on her mouth as she slowly breathed.
