Chapter 20 Chilling Water....

Honestly I didn't think the last was that good but holy shit did y'all love it!And I also wanted to say.Thank y'all for 200 followers!It really means a lot to me, love y'all!

Alexia's POV

"A-Alexia, go down the river bank and start searching for Natsuki and Sayori!"Y/N said with panic in his voice as he held onto his bleeding wound."B-But your bleeding!I need to take car-NO!Save Natsuki And Sayori!Please!"He said with again."F-fine, here!You know what to do!"I said as I pulled out my phone and pushed it into his hand, I then turned and began to run down towards the river bank.

I ran through trees and plants with thorns on them for a good minute before I came upon a small trail that was open up to the river bank.I continued to run, even as it began to rain and slowly began to rain even harder.Damnit, I haven't heard a scream or seen them in the water.What if they've drowned and they're stuck at the bottom of the river...

"No, that's not possible.I need to focus and th-"A scream interrupted my thoughts as I turned and saw a failing arm of Natsuki out in the water, she looked weak and was desperately trying to stay above the water as the river now rushed twice as fast.Natsuki was slammed into a rock where she clingedonto and began to try and breath while the water rushed past her."Hang on Natsuki!Im coming!"I shouted at her which got her attention as she looked over at me and nodded as I then threw myself into the water.

The water was like ice, it was so cold that it made chills go up through my spine as I began to lose body temperature.I then began to swim toward Natsuki, but it was extremely difficult with the rushing water constantly trying to pull me under the currents.Natsuki's eyes then widened as she began to pull or attempt to pull something up.

It took a good 2 minutes for me to get to her until I was at the same rock she was on.I then reached out my hand and didn't bother to tell her anything as thunder continually boomed across the sky.The thunder drowned out all other noises and made it impossible to hear anything, combined with the hard and endless showers of rain.I couldn't feel anything, not even the sensation of me grabbing onto Natsukis hand.

I then pulled her close to me but she kept fighting against me, she was rapidly pointing down at the ick and water while I dragged back into the rushing waters of the river.Im so cold....I can't feel anything....I can't think k and I'm starting to find it hard to think....I-I can't give up....not now!I thought as I continued to pull us through the rushing water as lightning sounded out above us as well as the booming of the thunder and the heavy onslaught of the horrendous rain.Just a little closer....I thought as we were just a few more feet away from the land.

"AGHHHH!!!"I screamed out as a chunk of a log smashed into my shoulder at full speed, even with the thunder sounding out above I very well heard the awful crunch of my shoulder.I felt the bones themselves splinter into pieces as the log continued to push against me."AgggGGGGHH!!"I screamed as I used my now broken arm to push the log out of the way and continued to swim towards the river bank."Fuck....c'mon...a-almost...there!"I said as we approached the river bank.After a few more painful seconds, I had finally made it to land and gently put Natsuki down as I collapsed onto the ground.

Natsuki rolled over and began to cough violently as she coughed up buckets of water, once she was done coughing she looked over at me and grabbed me."Sayoir is still out there!!Shes near the rock!!Save her, PLEASE!!"She screamed as I examined my broken arm.The shoulder plate had been crushed and pushed upward, along with the lower bone that connects to my shoulder having been crushed and a mangled mess as well as it having a purple color to it.

"What!?" "Shes still out there!!SHE WONT LAST LONG!!PLEASE!!"Natsuki pleaded with me as I held onto my broken arm, and looked back at the river.Logs and rocks were now in the river and were being carried off.....it was a gamble....and if I got there....would Sayori even be alive?Would I go out there for nothing and drown or survive?"Fuck....."I said as I launched myself out and towards the angry and rushing river as I embraced the icy coldness as I entered the rushing river.

It was like a cold blanket had been wrapped around me and was laying on a sheet of ice.I couldn't feel any part of my body anymore at this point as I fought through the pain and swam towards the rock.

As I got closer, I finally saw a some hair rise up to the surface of the river and saw a unconscious Sayori rise up and was pushed against the rock.Seeing that only made me even more determined as I swam faster while I tried my best to ignore the pulsing and agonizing pain that was throbbing in my broken shoulder as I continually swam as the icy water threaten to freeze me to death....but I'd didn't feel anything....

After a few more slow and painful strides until I finally came upon the rock that Sayori was against, I then rest3d there for a few seconds before I hooked my broken arm around her and began to swim back towards the shore."Damnit, all of this debris is in my...way!!"I shouted as rocks and seeming piles of dirt kept colliding into me and slowing me down as I swam.I had only made it about 10 feet away from the rock when I saw a big log in the water coming straight towards me as the rushing water carried it off towards me.

"Shit!!"I shouted as I desperately tried to swim faster, but it was impossible with having to swim while carrying a unconscious Sayori with a broken arm.I swam as fast as I could as the log rapidly approached, and with it, size....I had underestimated how big the log was and found out that it was much bigger than what it seemed to be, it looked to be 24-30ft in length and 2-3ft in width.

I then desperately tried to swim out of the way but my arms burned and ached as I swam against the currents of the rushing river.

"AAUGGHHAAAAA!!!" I screamed as the log smashed into me at full speed, I heard the awful crunch of my ribs and bones break and muscle tear as I felt the blood rush into my head as I lost all of my senses and began to sink under the water as the log continued it's path of destruction.My entire body ached as I sunk down to the murky depths of the river as I thought about my life....and how I wasn't able to do much more...

I'm sorry, I thought as I began to go with the current as I got close to shore as all I saw was blood filling my vision and the ringing in my ear and the movement of my broken ribs....I wanted to scream....but I couldn't....I didn't have the strength to.....

Not even as I was suddenly grabbed and began to be pulled out of the water along with sayori as I saw paramedics help me onto a stretcher with them working on sayori.I was immediately covered by a warm blanket as I was moved and being rushed towards what I assume was a ambulance....I didn't feel any emotion, no pain, happiness, fear, warmth....nothing....even as they said.

"I don't think they'll make it......"

Got nothing to say here besides the fact that it's my BIRTHDAY!!!Im officially 16 now!!See ya in the next chapter!
