~~Kassie’s POV~~

It’s been three days since I fainted in front of One Direction and their band. I didn’t even get the chance to talk to them. I was a babbling fool. I must’ve sounded like an idiot. I still have the concussion and I’ve been having a hard time focusing at school.

I don’t know how I got here. I was focusing on the cracks on the sidewalk. I stopped when I smelled espresso. I was at the same coffee shop. I had my guitar case. Liam left it with one of the nurses at the hospital. I sat down on the same steps and started playing. I kind of want a second chance at meeting One Direction. I don’t want them to remember me from fainting and getting them in trouble with management. I took out my sheet music, they all looked the same. I can’t focus enough to read it. I could feel the confused look on my face. I tried to focus enough to put the sheets in order; they were still out of order and mixed up from when the wind blew them at Andy, Liam and Josh. I puzzled the songs together

~~Louis’ POV~~

God, so many interviewers in this city! Now I know why Simon booked us here for an entire week. We had an hour until the next interview. Niall wanted to eat, Harry and Zayn wanted to lounge around, and I wanted tea. Liam suggested we go to the coffee shop where that girl fainted. Couches for Harry and Zayn to lie around, food for Niall, and tea for me. It worked out fine. We just got there when Liam started to roam around, looking for something or somebody.

“What’s wrong mate?” Andy asked. He and Josh joined us. It was better than being locked away in a hotel room.

“Oh, you know exactly what’s wrong!” Liam snapped. That wasn’t like him. He was nervous.

I looked up at him; he was pacing and rubbing his palms together.

The line for ordering was long. I was standing with Niall when he took a double take out the window. “What are you looking at, Nialler?”

He looked harder. “The girl who fainted had long, dark, wavy hair and tan skin, right?”

I tried to remember. “I think so,” I replied. I followed his eyes. She was sitting across the street with her guitar, looking though some papers. I didn’t make anything of it. That’s how Josh said he found her.

Liam must’ve noticed what Niall and I were staring at; he pretty much tackled Andy and pointed out the window. He looked like he was going to wet himself from being scared. He looked like he wanted to run in circles. Who knows what they were whispering about. I managed to hear “what if she realized”, “she’s going to hate” and “we’ve screwed up”. I wasn’t going to get into their problems, especially if it made Liam like this.
