Theo~

Time skip but not big.

So this week had been crazy and busy. I'm thankful that we actually only paid for the one week get three free deals because according to Zero and Nash we could live in the main house. So all day Thursday we furniture shopped. Five new beds, five dressers and ten bed side tables. Five TVs and a whole living room set with a huge ass tv. A dining set, kitchen appliances with new cook and eating ware. A new washer and dryer. Everything a house needed was bought. I ended up getting the kids each a laptop and phones with headphones and a gaming system for the living room.

The bus was scheduled to pick them up first thing in the morning. They got all new school supplies and clothes. And I signed up for classes as well.

Nash and Zero had been working on all the stuff in the main house that needed done. They talked me into redoing the bathroom to fit all of us in the shower and tub. A bigger closet and buying a custom made bed. Which we got at a killer deal so I had the guy make one for everybody else.

Zandra and Carson were filling the cabinets with food and necessities while I made sure the house and kids were cared for. Tonight we would stay in the house for the first time. All of us. Some how Zero and Nash decided they would stay as well.

I haven't left the house in two days only to go sleep at the cabin. I feel like I need to sleep but with everything going on I knew I couldn't.

"Hey Max just messaged me and needs a few more papers signed." Carson said coming into the kitchen we're I was putting plates away at.

"No he doesn't, he figured it out. He wants to come over and see if it's true." I said with a sigh.

"What do you want me to do?" He asked.

"Tell him to come and bring the papers. The kids and I will stay upstairs. If he has actual papers ask him to leave them and you get them back to him but if he don't then we know he's feeling things out." I said with a sigh.

Today it was just me the kids and Carson. Nash was on patrol and Zero was getting material to start on Carson's house. Zandra was working so the house was empty for now. I did have picture laying around that had been taken when the kids were growing up so I gathered them up and put them in a box.

"Okay I email him and let him know. He said he would be here in an hour or so." Carson said.

"He will be here before that. He's trying to catch us." I said with a sigh.

"So go take a nap I got this." Carson said.

I got the kids and had them hid in their rooms. Which with the TVs it's wasn't hard.

I laid on the air mattress that was set up in my room and closed my eyes.

There was no way I could fall asleep knowing Max was coming here. So I got up and found a good place to hide so I could hear what was going on.

Carson was standing in front of one of the big windows facing the drive. He looked nervous but confident.

I heard the car before I saw it. Same car as last time pulled right up to the house. Max was alone this time which made it easier for me to hide. He'd smell me but my scent was all over the place here.

"Good afternoon Mr. Crowell. Please come in. But excuse the mess please we have a lot going on." Carson said.

"No worries, I understand the joys of moving. I won't take much of your time. I just have this paper for the owner to sign. Is he in?" Max asked.

"No I'm sorry he has been trying to get all the stuff for the house set up. You know the contractor and utilities and what have you." Carson said.

"Oh well you could have said something, I could have come at a different time. This is just for our records. There really wasn't a rush." Max said looking around the house. Looking right past me a couple times as he did.

"Oh by your email I thought it was and didn't want to keep you waiting. But if there is no rush do you mind leaving it. I'll have him sign it and we will get it back to you." Carson said. He's such an ass.

"Um.... yeah that would be great. We would like to also get a photo for our portfolio of the happy family moving in to their new homes. Do you think you could possibly take one and forward that on to my email as well?" Max asked. Oh course he wants a picture. They didn't know their kids standing right in front of them but now they want a picture.

"I'm sure we could handle that. It might take a few days but it shouldn't be a problem." Carson said with a smile. Oh he was so much a pain in my ass.

"Great so I need him to print his name here and sign here. And if he would like there is a comment section here that he could fill in. Do you know if he is making this place back into a camp? This is really an amazing place with a lot of potential." Max said finally handing Carson the paper.

"I think he is going to leave it private for family only. He bought a bunch of no trespassing signs to hang by the gate he had the contractors installing. We are more of a private family." Carson said almost making me laugh.

"I understand that. Do you guys have a big family?" Max asked.

"Not really, I think he only has a crazy rich Uncle that actually funded this place for him. You know I've never really heard him talk about anyone else to be honest." Carson said and I had to bite my tongue. Of course he would bring Clark up. In your face with that one.

"Really, he seemed really young to have kids that age surely he has parents." Max said. Oh man he just walked into that one.

"His mom died after his sister was born and his dads skipped town in the middle of the night. That boy raised those kids. In a one room basement apartment for ten years with the help of this uncle. He's worked everyday since so he deserves this an so much more. The town only seen them as the unwanted three so if you ask me they are his kids." Carson said with pure venom.

"People have their reasons. I'm sure it wasn't an easy one. But I'm positive it was a stupid one." Max said shaking his head as if to rid himself of something unwanted.

"If you ask me there isn't a good enough one to leave three kid barely old enough to survive with only an 8 year old to take care of them. But he did the best he could and if you ask me he did an amazing job." Carson said making me smile. I love that guy.

"I'm sure he did. Thank you for your time. And I hope to meet the whole family again sometime." Max said heading for the door.

I waited for him to leave before running down and hugging my best friend. He did amazing.
