The Difference Between Love and Lust

Ash's Pov

She looks up at me, the fear spreading through her eyes, and the fire seems to be gone. We are running hand in hand, and she is looking at me, the whole time. "What happened?" I ask her, after we get done and into a house. She looks up at me and lets the tears fall. I have no clue why she is so scared. She tucks her head in my shoulder. She starts to shake from beneath me. She's breaking down, and for the first time, I too am scared. "Calm down" I rub her back as she sobs. "Are you ok?" I ask trying to talk to her, but she is hyperventilating. She looks up at me and I realize her black eyes. "Fucking Zack where is he?" I ask her as she just looks up at me with terror.

I hear my name being called in the distance and I can tell it is, Andy. "Hey what the fuck happened, all I seen was you guys take off and Zack go the other way." He looks up at me with terror. Luna stays in my arms. "Did he fucking do anything to her?" I look up at him and give him the eyes of rage. "Ash you aren't going anywhere without me." He looks at me with eyes of anger and sadness.

"Someone's got to watch Luna, you grew up with her, she'll feel a lot safer with you. Andy I can control myself, you wouldn't be able to. Watch Luna, and I'll deal with the fucker myself." I look at him. He nods and opens his arms for Luna. She runs into them and I take off to where Andy said Zack went.

I run in the other direction until I hear his footsteps. My whole body lunges towards him as I fall with him on the ground. I raise my hand. "You think you can just get away with laying a fucking hand on Luna?" I yell at him. He looks up at me with fear and smirks.

"Last time I checked, it wasn't illegal to hit a woman." He chuckles. I just punch him repeatedly. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, up until I see blood coming from both his mouth and nose, making sure that he has two black eyes for what he did.

"Don't do that to another woman or I'll kill your ass." I look at him as I stand up, stepping on his stomach. I take off back to the house to check on Luna.

Once I get there, I walk into her room, to see her sound asleep. "She asked for you to come back ya know." Jinxx says from behind me. "But none of us knew where you went, so she sent herself to bed and passed out. She's really scared about what happened, she won't even tell Andy. Ash she's really hurt this time, and I'm not even sure about what we should do."

"I took care of Zack, he'll never hurt her again." I smile a bit. "I'm going to make sure she's ok in the morning. Goodnight." I look at him. He nods agreeing as he walks to his room, and me to mine. I hit the bed and was asleep as quick as my head hit the pillow.

"I love you Luna." A voice says as I wake up. I have no clue who it was, so I get up and look in the hall. It is some guy with brown hair and blue eyes.

"Luna, who's this?" I ask her.

"It's Rick, I'm dating him." She looks up at me. Her black eye is swollen and she looks like a mess, still. I just nod and went back into my room.
