I will Stay by Your side

"Oh Natsu, you and Lucy do make a cute couple." Mirajane said in a very sweet tone. 

"Yeah yeah. " Natsu replied with cheeks that were burning pink. "Now that you mention it, Lucy sure is taking her time packing for this mission." 

"Thanks for waiting!" Lucy suddenly exclaimed as she raced over to Natsu. 

"Speaking of the devil." Mirajane chuckled as she put away some dishes that she had finished cleaning down. 

"Your late." Natsu complained as Lucy apologized and kissed him on the left cheeks a an apology. This time, Natsu had fully requested that it would only be Lucy and him traveling together without anyone tagging along. Including Happy. 

"Aye sir. Have a safe trip Natsu." Happy said waving good bye as we headed off to Balsam Village. During their trip to there, they enjoyed their long walk together as they held hands and said jokes to entertain themselves. This was consider Lucy and Natsu's first date and their first mission together alone. Lucy, in her heart, was hoping this would be a great experience. The paper had written on the reward that Mr. Bubble, the requester, had established that he will give out two tickets to the finest hotel and would enjoy their midnight meal at a very high class restaurant which had gotten Natsu an idea of taking Lucy with him. This was all planned out as a surprise for Lucy for her 18th birthday. 

"Natsu, are you tried?" Lucy asked as she handed him a towel. 

"I'm good. I can keep going." He replied as he smiled at her. Lucy smiled back as they continued their walk with their hands still glued together. When they have finally reached to Balsam Village, the city lights flickered like crystals and diamonds making Lucy's heart skip three beats. 

"Natsu isn't this beautiful?" 

"It's much more beautiful when your with me." Natsu said looking away from Lucy as he cupped his right hand over his mouth, smiling so big that he couldn't stop himself. As they headed down to the main street, they searched for the closet inn to stay for the night and start early in the morning to finish up the quest. 

"Welcome to Honey drew Inn. How may I help you?" The women asked as she gave out a warm welcoming smile. Lucy smiled back as she asked for two rooms that were nearby each other while Natsu, on the other hand, reported to Lucy that he will take a look around the village. 

Turning our attention to Natsu, while he is looking around the shops in the village, he had came to a shop that sold cute bracelets and necklaces that shine under the lights in the shop which got Natsu another idea. He entered into the shop called, Diamonds and Jewels, and came up to Natsu greeting him with joy. 

"Welcome minster. Are you here to buy a gift for your beloved girlfriend our a close friend of yours?" 

"Yes. C-Can you give me the finest necklace in this store?" Natsu stumbled as he's trying to remember how Mirajane taught him how to make Lucy blush and happy. After fifteen minutes later, he had finally found a perfect gift for Lucy and decided to head back to Honey drew Inn to caught up with Lucy. 

"Oh minster, your lady has told me to give you this key to your room. Have a good rest." the lady whom had helped Lucy get the room said. Natsu thanked her and walked up the stairs to where to rooms are and searched for the number 210. Ten minutes later, he had finally found it and opened up his room to see Lucy inside awaiting for him on a separate bed. She was already dressed in her pink pajamas looking like she was already for bed until she had turned around to meet eyes with Natsu as she smiled wide. 

"Oh, Natsu! Your back!" Lucy said happily as she raced over to Natsu and wrapped her arms around his neck. Natsu couldn't help but give out a shy smile as he wrapped back his arms around Lucy's body. 

"I'm back!" Natsu said. He dropped down his huge bag and laid himself flat onto his own bed with Lucy right next to him when he had realized that he was laying on top of the gift that he had just brought for Lucy. 

"Ah! I almost forgot!" He said nervously. Natsu quickly sat up from the bed and turned his whole body towards Lucy as Lucy slowly sat up facing her whole body towards him. When he finally pulled out the gift from his huge pocket, the paper bag was all crumbled but he could feel the necklace inside was alright. He let out a sigh. Lucy hung a confused look on her face but waited for Natsu to tell her what it is. He looked up from the paper bag and into Lucy's eyes but was too shy to say another word so he stretched out his arm that was holding on the gift towards her. 

"T-This f-for y-you." Natsu said nervously. Lucy shaped her mouth into the letter O but realized that he was too embarrassed to explain so she took it from his hand gently and opened it up to reveal a sparkling red necklace that had printed four letters. Lucy looked closely into the necklace and found out that it spelled, NaLu. Lucy was in shock but was too happy to say anything so instead, she threw her arms around Natsu and said. 

"Thank you Natsu. I love it! I'm going to treasure it like how I treasure you!" After he had heard that, he was boiling hot and rolled his arms around Lucy. Covering up his red face in Lucy's shoulders. Lucy chuckled and combed her pale hand on Natsu's spiky pink hair. 

By morning, they had checked out the room and headed off to Mr. Bubble's office to get directions to the monster that he had requested to get defeated. When we have arrived, his entrance doors were huge with two soldiers standing on guard. Walking up towards the doors, one of the guards came up to us and told us.

"This is a private building."

"We have some business with Mr. Bubble." Natsu quickly replied.

"What business do you have in Mr. Bubble?" He asked. "We are Fairy Tail wizards and Mr. Bubble had asked for two members from Fairy Tail to complete his quest." Lucy said as she showed him her Fairy Tail mark on her left pom as a proof that she was from Fairy Tail as well as Natsu did so as well. He approved it and lead them to Mr. Bubble's room where he was awaiting for us to arrive. 

"Mr. Bubble you have guests." 

"I am expecting them. Let them in." He said as he elevated his cup of tea to his lips as Natsu and Lucy entered into his room that was filled of fancy plates, lights, curtains, and furniture's. Lucy and Natsu giving out the same expression, was surprised and overfilled on how bright this room was. 

"Please have a seat over here." Mr. Bubble guided us to a sofa. We walked towards the set of sofas and took our seat next to each other which gave away to Mr. Bubble that we were a couple. 

"I see that you both have accepted this request to enjoy your times together as a couple." Mr. Bubble pointed out as Lucy nervously thinking of a way to not make things so awkward. Natsu, on the other hand, clammy smiled at Lucy's nervous action as he took her hand and held it tightly showing Mr. Bubble that they were a couple as he added. 

"Yup! We came here to get your reward and enjoy our honeymoon together in this beautiful town." Natsu smiled. Mr. Bubble was surprised and laughed happily and wished us both luck on this quest and return safely so they could both clam their reward and enjoy their stay. After a long talk with Mr. Bubble about the mission and Lucy and Natsu's love life, they both have head off to the deep of the Balsam Village forest. We were take the oppents's diamond that has been looped around his neck and retrieve back to him. He said that it was dear to Mr. Bubble for it was his daughter's favorite necklace and it has been passed down for generations. 

"Yosh! Let's go Lucy!" Natsu said taking Lucy by the hand and racing off the the forest in a speed of light.
