"Destiny you have to eat breakfast!" "mom I have an apple, bye love you!" I yelled leaving my house. I climbed I it my car and drove off, heading for school. Here in Ohio you can get your license at 16, I turned 16 two weeks ago. I parked my car and ran into the building, "there she is!" my best friend Lexie exclaimed as I approached her and Hannah. "Hey guys how was your weekend?" "fantastic, Jack took me on a picnic for out three month anniversary" Hannah replied. Jack is her boyfriend, Lexie is also dating a guy named ned, I'm the single Pringle. "Love that leather jacket by the way" "and the boots totally make you look bad ass" I laughed at their comments. The bell rang and we said our goodbyes, I headed off to math class. Now you think math would be the the worst subject ever, but not when you have a teacher like mine. Her name is Ms.Kane, she tells stories and awesome jokes all the time. As she taught my phone buzzed in my pocket, it was a text from Lexie. Asking if I wanted to sleep over tonight along with Hannah. I quickly replied saying yes knowing mom would be fine with it.

School finally ended and we could leave. Me and the girls got into my car and made stops at mine and Hannah's houses, before heading over to Lexie's.

"Did you guys hear we are getting a new student?" we all sat in Lexie's room. "Yes heard a teacher talking about it, said their from new york" I explained "know anything about the gender?" "I hope it's a guy" "you have a boyfriend!" me and Hannah exclaimed. Lexie laughed "no for Destiny! girl you need a guy in your life" I don't need one, I'm perfectly fine being single" i stated. They always thought it was weird that I was a junior in high shook who had never had a boyfriend. "Well tomorrow we will find out who this person is, and if it's a hot guy who is not a jerk, we are so hooking Des up" I couldn't help but laugh. If only they knew why I had never taken any interest in guys.
