I woke up, to find I had fallen asleep in Sam's room, who laid beside me curled up and alseep. She looked cute, her nose scrunched up a little. "Holy..." I looked over to see a tall woman, she looked similar to Sam, but was older. "You must be Mrs.Kart, well um, this isn't exactly the way I thought we would meet" She just starred at me. I got up, careful not to wake Same, "You must be one of her new friends" I nodded. " Just, don't hurt my daughter, she's been through enough" I nodded "You two have two hours to get ready for school" and she left. I reached over and gently shook Sam, "Everything alright?" i smiled "yea I'm just going home" she smiled and nodded and began to get up. I grabbed my jacket and put my shoes back on before heading out.
I snuck inside and ran up to my room. I changed into my favorite ripped skinny jeans, a white t-shirt, my black boots, and my leather jacket. I grabbed my bag and an apple before running out.
"Your late!" Lexie exclaimed as I approached my locker, "Sorry I slept in" "That never happens!" Hannah exclaimed. The bell rang, Sam still wasn't here, I sighed and walked to class. I took my seat in the back and waited, Ms. Kane was late today. "Hey Des" i looked up to see Amber "Don't call me that, only my friends can call me that" I spat, "Amber back to your seat" Ms. Kane called out as she walked in. "Now lets get-" the door opened and Same ran in, "Sorry I'm late!" "It's your third day Ms. Kart, so I'll let it slide. Just don't let it happen again" Sam nodded and came and sat beside me. class ended and we headed for science next.
We had assigned seats, so I was forced to sit beside amber. "Good morning class, today I'm assigning a project you will do with a partner, who is the person sitting next you. pick a rock to re-search, make a power point presentation, and add an interesting fact at the end" I sighed in frustration. I was going to have to work with Amber. "So what rock you want to do?" she smiled at me, "Lets just do granite" I grumbled. "great you come over after schoo, i'm sure you still remember where I live"
Sam's POV
My partner was Lexie, we decided to do gabbro. I glanced over at Des, who was talking with Amber. "Same?" "mm, yea?" "you alright?" I smiled "Yea I'm fine"
