I feel like I need to explain some things first before I continue the story. Kei is a really popular guy and he is popular for his looks. The reason why he doesn't go to the lunchroom to eat lunch is that a lot of people usually surround him and he doesn't like all the attention. It's been like this for him every since 6th grade, so he started going to the library and found he liked really good books with action and adventure. Thus the reason why he is always in the library. Amano's reason for why she goes to the library is pretty obvious. She likes to read, has no friends, and hates the lunchroom because she has nowhere to sit. I hope that helped you to understand why they are always in the library because it's kinda important to the storyline.

Amano's POV

Oh, I hope he is there.

I headed to the library, hoping Kei would be there because I forgot to get his phone number in the third period so we could communicate.

I went into the library and saw Kei, sitting in the chair he usually sits in, reading a book. The chair he usually sits in is a really comfy looking Carnmore Sofa.

I walked up to him and said "Uhhh."

He looked up from his book, at me. Now that I had his attention I asked: "I-I di-didn't get y-your ph-phone a-number in th-third p-period."

Kei's eyes widened. "Oh. You're right. Hold on a second."

Kei marked the page he was on with a bookmark and closed it, setting it down on the Isamu Noguchi coffee table in front of him. He opened his backpack and pulled out a scrap piece of paper and a pen.

He wrote what I guessed was his phone number and put the pen back into his bag.

He offered me the piece of paper and said: "Here you go."

I stuttered, "Th-thank y-you," and scurried off.

Kei's POV

~After School~

I got a text after school from an unknown number.

[Unknown Number]: Hey, it's Amano. I created the google slide presentation. Here is the link to the Google slide.

[Me]: Okay, thanks, Amano.

[Amano Akiyama]: Of course! 😊

I opened the link and from the looks of it, she started to work on it, but didn't know how to start the presentation after the title slide. I did a slide and then logged off.

Amano's POV

~Saturday~

I log back on to find that he did a slide.

Wow okay. I wasn't sure how to structure the next slide so this will be good to reference from.

I worked on it for the next 8 hours.

~Sunday~

After Church, I opened up the slide and saw that he almost finished everything.

(At the time I didn't realize it, but he only did the theme background and redid the fonts and everything to make it look pretty and it looked like he did so much that I thought I left him to do all of it and I felt like a complete idiot, but when I got to school Monday, he argued with me and said that I was the one who did the most work, all he said he did was make it look pretty.)

I did a few more slides for the next 4 hours, completing the project.

Wow. In total, I spent 12 hours on this.

(It legit IRL took me 12 hours, just summarizing, rewording, and trying to explain it to where it makes sense.)

This is a copy of the finished presentation:

I'm really sorry all the chapters have been short. I'll try to upload more or try to make them longer. Also sorry nothing super interesting has happened yet. It took me until like a couple of weeks before I actually starting like bonding with him, soooo yeah. I edited the time on the last chapter to where it's a couple of weeks later that they get this project assigned so that all the drama wouldn't be squished up into a quarter or any crazy short period of time. I'm also writing this on the fly with no outline because I didn't think the story through. But that's what's fun about writing a story. I get to put in twists whenever I see fit or when they need 'em. It'll be a couple of chapters before it starts unraveling because A) That would be accurate, and B) I wanted this to be a slow romance. The type of romance where the characters don't fall in love right away. Anyways, hope you're enjoying it so far, and comment me about corrects to any errors I may have made.
