Chapter 6 ASL Song Project

Amano's POV

~The Week Before Thanksgiving Break.~

Mrs. Kobayoshi assigned a Song Project we have to sign to either One Call Away by Charlie Puth or What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction.

Kei and I chose One Call Away.

Mrs. Kobayoshi lectured after everyone chose their song, "We will start presenting after Thanksgiving Break so everyone practice over the break!"

Everyone groaned and the bell rang.

~Lunchtime~

I sat next to Kei while he was reading like usual, but this time I asked: "Hey do you wanna practice the song with me?"

During the past few weeks, I have become comfortable around Kei, so I don't stutter anymore.

Kei looked up at me with a smile, surprisingly, and said "You know what? That's a good idea."

We practiced and we were both really clumsy. We kept bumping into each other with our hands since we were signing in front of each other.

Once I hit him in the cheek by accident kinda hard. I instantly touched where I hit and said: "I'm so sorry!"

He smiled and put his hand on the hand that I had on his cheek, "It's okay. I barely felt it."

I blushed and jerked my hand back suddenly. Kei laughed. I could tell he was lying though because only the cheek that I hit was turning red.

Sorry, I would put the presenting of the project in this chapter, but something happens over Thanksgiving Break!
