I couldn't believe the year was winding down. One minute it seemed like we were bringing in the new year. The very next moment we were laughing, all sitting around the table for Thanksgiving. It's funny how time flies, but when you are surrounded by good people, it doesn't seem to be moving as fast. I snuggled into my blanket not wanting to wake up. I finally opened my eyes realizing that I fell asleep on the couch. I sat up running my hands through my hair as I looked at the clock. I nudged Shawn who was asleep next to me, I finally got him to wake up.

"What?" he groaned.

"Its morning" I spoke softly.

"Good for it" he closed his eyes.

"We have work Shawn" I rubbed his shoulder.

"It can wait, come to cuddle with me" he opened his arms for me.

"Come on wake up," I said as I got up off the couch.

"No" he hides his face in a pillow.

"Shawn" I leaned down and kissed his cheek.

"Come here" he pulled me back onto the couch.

I gave in and just cuddled into his chest. He kept me close to him as we both seemed to drift off to sleep. That wasn't my plan but I just loved being in his arms. I finally woke up again, I heard his stomach growl so I knew he would get up. I chuckled slightly as I played with his hair. He looked at me, running his fingers down my arm. I leaned in towards him kissing him softly. I could feel him smile against my lips, making me smile as well. I got up from the couch and reached for his hand. He grabbed my hand as he got up, I walked into the kitchen. I started the coffee maker, getting stuff out to make breakfast. I cracked two eggs in a bowl and scrambled them. Pouring them into the hot skillet, he came behind me wrapping his arms around me. I leaned back against him keeping my attention on the skillet. I could feel his breathing against my neck as he laid his head down on my shoulder. I smiled as I continued to cook, I didn't want this moment to end.

"Ready to eat?" I asked.

"Is it ready?" he whispered into my ear.

"Yea it is" I nodded as I pulled away from his grip.

I placed the food onto the plate, popping the toast up from the toaster. I got our drinks and sat down next to him. We enjoyed breakfast together. We really didn't talk while we ate because we were just enjoying the food. I looked out the window and realized that it was snowing.

"Shawn?" I asked.

"Uh?" he looked up from eating.

"Its snowing" I smiled.

"Cool," he looked out the window.

"It's coming down a lot," I said.

"Yea it is, you get to call a sick day from work" he smirked.

"I can take a sick day? Of course ill call my work" I chuckled slightly.

He cleaned up the kitchen as I went upstairs. I called into my work and they had already told everyone that no one would come in today. I guess I already had the day off, I went back downstairs. I found Shawn standing out on the back porch watching the snow fall. I made my way outside and boy was it cold, I hugged him from behind him. He smiled as he pulled me to his side, wrapping his arms around me.

"It's beautiful" I spoke softly.

"Yea it is but you are more beautiful" he smiled as he leaned down kissing my forehead.

"Stop it" I rolled my eyes as I started to blush.

"Let's go inside, get warm" he started to pull me inside.
