Chapter 2

Lucas, Cole and Elliot couldn't believe it.

They were meeting the famous O'Brien Winters.

They never thought that they would have the chance to meet this guy.

O'Brien was a famous scientist who found out about the possible invasion on Earth by some aliens.

By the look of what's happening right now, O'Brien was right.

Suddenly, everyone started to run in a same direction.

O'Brien then said, "Come on, we've gotta get you guys to Arion."

Arion.

The planet which every government of each country had agree to sent their people to when the aliens invade Earth.

It's a planet similar to Earth but the temperature is a little colder than Earth.

Lucas felt someone tugging his arm and snapped out of his thoughts.

All he saw was Luna glaring at him and pulling him along with her, running after O'Brien.

When they arrived at the station, they saw ships taking off.

" O'Brien! Luna!" A lady in her late thirties came running over with a guy around 18 who looked quite similar to Luna.

"Mum, Jase." Luna called out.

The lady gave O'Brien a hug.and a kiss on the lips while the guy pulled Luna into a bone crushing hug and kissed her temple.

"Oh God's, Lu, we thought we've lost you and dad." The guy said.

Luna chuckled and said, "You may have taken the day off but I still have school. Dad found us at the clearing near school. I was lost."

Dad?

"Wait, O'Brien is your father?" Elliot asked Luna.

"Yea. And this is my mum, Tracey, and my brother, Jason. Mum, Jase, these are my classmates, Lucas Emerson, Cole Jackson and Elliot Logan."

They greeted each other and O'Brien spoke, "Come on, let's get you guys on a ship. I'll have to board the last one so you guys will go first okay?"

Tracey, Luna and Jason disagree immediately.

Then Luna suggested, "Mum and Jase can go first. I'll stay with you dad. After all, I've been training all my life at summer camp."

Jason piped in, "No! Lu, you should go with Mum. Ladies first."

"You can take care of Mum when you guys arrive at Arion. You know that place more than I do. It's safer for you to follow Mum." Luna explained.

"Okay then. Jason you are to follow your mother and Luna will follow me. We'll see you at Arion. Is that clear?" O'Brien couldn't stand the arguing and made the decision. The Winters siblings nodded.

Tracey pulled her husband and her daughter into another hug and made them promise to stay safe.

Lucas and his friends were about to board the ship aftet Tracey and Jason when someone yanked them back.

It was one of the officers, "It's full. Take the last ship."

Cole wanted to shove the guy but was held back by his friends.

"Come on let's go."

Soon, it was time for the last ship to take off.

But fate wasn't going to let them go that easily.

The ship was shot by the aliens before the late passengers could board it.

And the passengers are none other than O'Brien, Luna, Lucas, Cole, Elliot, Marcus and another three more teenagers.

Damn, fate really hates humans doesn't it?
