One ~ Chapter 6

Chapter 6

O'Brien took a key out of his back pocket and unlocked the door.

Everyone walked in and gasped. Well, except Luna, Daniel and John.

In front of them was two trucks fit for the trip. It was like custom made just for them. Both black in color.

The back of each car was an open space for them to shoot enemies and a spot for lookout. Sniper guns were already installed and ready to use. Inside the cars were soft and comfortable car cushions for them to rest. The cars were full of extra ammos and knives.

"Alright, Luna, Lucas, Elliot, Marcus and Daniel in the first car and the rest in the second. Get in and get everything ready. We will leave as soon as everyone's settled." O'Brien said with a proud smile on his face.

Luna sprung immediately into action, gathering her stuff and loading the car whilst urging the others to start moving.

Once they were done. Luna grabbed the car keys and said, "I wanna drive, please." But Marcus shook his head, "Nah, Daniel's driving. We need you for first watch out."

"O come on, this is a rare chance that I get to drive underage." Lune said with her hands on hips.

"Look Lu, you can drive the next round. We need you for first lookout. You can also demonstrate for Lucas and Elliot." Daniel placed his hands on Luna's shoulder.

Her shoulders slumped in defeat under his hands and she nodded with a sigh."Ergh, fine. But don't you ever dare drive slow. You know, get a head start if they ever noticed us."

Daniel chuckled, "When have I ever go slow?" and helped Luna, Lucas and Elliot unto the car.

Luna turned to the two, "Come on, let's get the guns ready."

Once everyone was comfortably settled in their own cars, the group started their journey with O'Brien leading the way.

Luna, Lucas and Elliot spent some time getting to know each other despite the fact that they were in the same school.

They talked about school, people and stuff.

Much to her surprise, Luna found out that she and Lucas shared most of the same interest. They like listening to music whilst doing everything; they like the same books, series, movies; they enjoy same ethnic foods; they love wearing hoodies and converses; they don't mind spending a day alone all cooped up on their room, reading and listening to music. The only difference was that Luna preferred writing while Lucas preferred drawing.

Elliot had suggested they published a book or comic and stated that they have so much in common they were like made for each other.

That cause said people to blush.

When Marcus saw this, he smiled. It has been a long time since Luna started trusting people again. And he had missed the carefree smile on her face that always managed to bring light and happiness into almost everyone's heart.

In the buys' opinions, Luna was too quiet for their liking. She was always alone except for Marcus and the rest when they came back for a visit in school after they graduated. Lucas was determined to find out what was keeping Luna from socializing. Was it because of her hobby in spending most of her time in the lab house or was it because of the people in the school?

Little did he know that it was neither.

Anyway, here's a new chapter! It's kinda like a filler chapter and it's short, I know. I'll try to write longer and more interesting.
