Chapter 5
"Do you still remember how I sparred with Marcus? Yea, that's sword fighting if you didn't know. I'll teach you the basics. As for the rest, you'll have to learn it and pick up yourself. Am I clear?"
Lucas nodded at her words.
After handing out the weapons to everyone and separating Lucas, Cole and Elliot for combat training, Luna started to train Lucas on sword fighting.
"Here, this is how you hold your dagger. It'll be easier to defend yourself if your enemy strikes."
As they started on the lesson, Luna can't help but admire how fast Lucas is learning.
Suddenly, O'Brien ran in the room. "Luna! Lucas! Meeting! Now!"
Both of them were too stunned to move. You can't blame them. O'Brien surprised them.
O'Brien ran a hand down his face and dragged them to the meeting room.
"Okay. Now that everyone's here, I got something to say. I just remember that we've gotta go to my other lab houses to get some stuff to activate the ship to get to Arion." O'Brien said.
"Oh shit! I totally forgotten about that! Damn it!" Luna cursed.
O'Brien frowned, "Luna! Language!"
But Luna didn't care, she continued to mutter more colorful words under her breath.
"Luna! We need you here girl!" Daniel shook her shoulders.
"Sorry," Luna shook her head, "Look, if we leave here another day earlier and travel day and night, we should be able to make it on time." Luna said, studying the map on the table.
"So what should we prepare for the trip?" John asked.
"Well, everyone's gotta work together to pull this off. Michelle, prepare more food for us. As much as possible. If possible, can food too. Daniel, check the first aid kits for both vehicles and help dad with the checking of the vehicles. Dad will show you where. John, join them. Marcus, help me train Lucas, Cole and Nico and prepare the weapons. We will leave the day after tomorrow. Are we clear? Good! Now let's do this!"
