All she could see was darkness.

The air around her was cold yet hot.

She couldn't feel anything. All she could feel was the numbness that was spreading around her body, and the pain in her head.

Another sharp pain went through Luna's head as she slowly regained consciousness.

She tried opening her eyes but the light wasn't gonna let her to do so.

She spread her arms around and felt the area for something that she could use to cover the light.

Then she heard a gun click and a pop. Then another one. And another one. It goes on...

Even though she had been around guns and weapons since she was young, she couldn't stand all the noise. She just woke up from unconsciousness for gods sake!

Finally, someone crouched down next to her and carried her in his arms bridal style.

Subconsciously, she wrapped her arms around the guy's neck and inhaled his scent. It wasn't familiar to her but she felt safe in his arms.

She felt herself being laid down on something soft but it didn't give her any safety feeling. That's why she wouldn't let the guy's neck go.

He chuckled, "Hey, you've gotta let go. I've gotta help your dad."

She tightened her grip, "No. Stay with me. I don't feel safe. Do you even know how to fight?"

He chuckled again and Luna finally opened her eyes.

It was Lucas.

He sat down, leaning his back against the wall and pulled her in his arms.

"Where are we?" She asked, taking in their surroundings.

"We're inside school. When the ship exploded, everyone flew! Literally. All of us had injuries but you got the worse. Apparently, you were knock out cold and held as hostage by those aliens." Lucas explained.

"What!? Seriously? You guys came back for me?"

"We couldn't leave you, could we? No way in hell."

Luna nodded and leaned into Lucas' arms.

She winced when another pain shot through her head.

Lucas sat up worried, "You okay?"

Luna shook her head and told him about the headaches she's currently having.

"Lu? Are you okay?" O'Brien asked when the battle ended.

Lucas helped Luna to her feet while she nodded. She then stumbled on her feet and fell against John.

She looked up,"John? Michelle? Daniel? What are you guys doing here? And Marcus, Lucas, Cole and Elliot too. What the hell happened?"

O'Brien sighed, "We'll explain later. Come on, let's get to the lab house."

Everyone picked their weapons from the ground while Marcus carried Luna and made their way to O'Brien's lab house.

"I'm fine. Thanks Marc." Luna thanked her best friend.

Once she was on the ground, Luna faced a wall and pressed a button as her father switched on the lights.

The wall 'opened' and revealed a bunch of swords, waiting to be use.

"As usual, I'm taking Destiny. Marc, wanna spar?" Luna said.

Marcus smirked and grabbed another sword, "Sure."

All Lucas and his friends could think is: What?
