When Two Words Meet

Chapter Four

SB's POV

I flinched at the outburst of the wolf girl. I run towards the couch, and saw her in her defense pose. I was a few feet away from the couch. I held up my hands in defense. "Its okay! Its fine! Its me, the coffee shop gal, who saved you from those jerks. I just didn't wanna leave you in the alley, where thugs can come and target you, again," I exclaimed,as I wanted to let her know who I was, so she wouldn't attack me. She looked at me and let out a sigh of relief. As I did too, since I was so close to getting beaten by a hybrid.

"So...where am I?" she asks again, but a little quieter, and looks around the room, as if trying to find an exit.

"My house. And like I said, i didnt wanna leave you in the ally, when your still injured. And where the thugs can easily prey on you," I sheepishly say, as I lightly scratch my cheek.

She hums in response. And looks down at her hands, that were placed on top of her thighs.

"Well...Since your gonna stay here, the guest room is right across from the bathroom. So you can take it," I said, as she nodded. I slowly sat down next to her. And I noticed her clothes were kinda dirty. I got up. "Well. Since your gonna stay here. You can wear one of my pj's," I smiled, as I jumped up, "Let me get them. Ill be right back, Cutie~," I purred. As I don't really know her name. But Cutie seemed to fit her. As she is kinda cute.

She blushes at the name. And lightly nods. I smile.

I walk into my room. And grab out comfy clothing. And came back to the living room. With the clothes in my arms. "Here you go, Cutie. You can take a shower too, if you need too," I said. As i pointed my thumb towards the bathroom after I gave the wolf girl the clothes. She nods.

"Thank you," She says quietly, as she stares at the clothes on her lap. And I went over to her side. And sat down next to her. Silence overcomes. It was kinda nice. Not that awkward silence...But, the peaceful silence.
