The sand felt warm on her bare legs, a feeling that she could never get enough of. There was barely anyone on the beach expect an overweight guy in speedos and a couple that looked like they were eating each other’s face off in the middle of the ocean.
She loved being alone, sometimes she needed to run away from reality, from people and have her alone time. The beach was like a second home to her and her ultimate escape.
The pages of her book swiftly turned as the wind picked up. A sigh escaped her lips as she had the lost the page she was reading on and just returned to straying into the distance.
Life was so simple: you are born, you live and you die. But humans always wanted more, they were never satisfied. That’s what she felt now, unsatisfied. Everything just seemed to be bland everything was the same. The same people. The same place. The same gossip. The same styles. The same boyfriend. Don’t get me wrong, she loved her boyfriend and all but there just seemed to be going at one pace like nothing was ever going anywhere. But that didn’t mean she wanted to break up with him, no she wasn’t about to exactly change that right now.
It seemed a lot a lot easier to hide behind a smile, and pretend everything was okay. It was a lot easier to pretend to be someone else, than be yourself because in Violet’s world there was hardly a chance that she would be accepted if they really knew who she was. She grew knowing that a smile and a few fake words were the sword to fight the war of life.
A seagull flew into the distance trying helplessly to catch up to it flock. There where white but they were such demonic creatures. They had no fear in humans and there wasn’t a chance you could eat anything near without be sea gull raped.
Her thoughts were broken off when she felt the grains of sand falling from the sky but when she looked up it sure as hell didn’t look like the sand rain was coming from the sky. Yet it seemed some asshole with a wicked smirk was creating artificial sand rain with his hands.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?” Violet yelled at Kyle.
“Just didn’t like the sight of enjoying yourself.”
“Well, conquest won. Go annoy someone else.”
“That’s no fun.”
“Well I am sorry that I couldn’t amuse you.”
“You assume me, alright.” He sang his annoying laugh.
“Well great I am funny to you, know if you don’t mind I am going to leave,” Violet said slipping past him.
“No, wait;” he grabbed her arm, “I didn’t waste all my time trying to find you for no reason.”
“How did you find?” now that she thought about it, he just didn’t seem to coincidently bump into him.
“I wanted to invite you to a party,” Kyle half smirked ignoring her question.
“And what makes you think that I would want to go with you,” Violet challenged.
“Right I forgot how much of a tight ass you are,” she fumed and his remark.
“Well I am coming. Address and time,” she snarled.
“Nope, I am going to pick you up,” he said satisfactorily.
“Not happening,” she glared at him.
“Be ready by seven,” And with that he left.
“What the fuck did I just agree to,” she hissed at herself.

Her hair was in the soft curls that she liked and her makeup was pretty unidentifiable with light mascara along with light pink lip gloss. Her black dress hung loosely around her curves and just came three quarters down her thigh.
She really wasn’t sure about what she was about get herself into. Agreeing to go to a party with Kyle wasn’t a smart idea. You didn’t need to be a wizard to figure out he wasn’t good news. I mean he got bloody arrested for graffiti and she was pretty sure it wasn’t the first time it happened.
Hurry your ass down. I don’t have all night
Kyle
Of course he bloody knew where she lived. She was hoping this was all like a joke on his behalf and never turned up. What was she thinking, he figured out her number, where she was and her where she lived? She was pretty dead straight that this guy was a stalker.
Calm your tits
Violet
She didn’t appreciate his pissy tone and he was the one who invited her, not the other way around.
She climbed down the stairs careful not to trip over her black heals. Her sister sat on the lounge eating from a bowl of popcorn and watching a re-run of neighbours.
“Date, with Adam?” she asked.
“No, not really,” Violet mumbled.
“Then what?”
“Some party.” Violet answered.
“I thought Adam didn’t parties.”
“Well the world doesn’t fucking revolve around him does it.”
“I, Um… sorry.”
“I am just not in the mood for it,” Violet said storming out the front door.
A black Holden was parked in front of her house; she walked up towards it and opened up the passenger.
“Just fucking drive!” she yelled at Kyle.
“Yes mam.”
“Don’t call me that.” Violet glared.
“What’s got you so pissy?” Kyle questioned.
“None of your business,” Violet snapped.
“Fine.”
After going around twisted lanes, places where Violet didn’t know existed, they finally stopped in front a quiet run down brink house. It seemed rather quiet for a place that was about to host a party.
“Why is no one here?” Violet said a little worried.
She wasn’t going to put rape or murder past this guy.
“Because we are early,” Kyle explained in a relaxed tone.
“I don’t buy it,” Violet said a little worried.
“I am not selling you anything,” Kyle laughed .
“You are stupid.”
“I would say, I am rather smart.”
Kyle opened the front door and in a flash he twisted Violet by the waist and put his face centimetres from hers.
“Got it!”
