Laila's POV

We all were talking in general... About weather, food etc.

A customer walked in.. I got up from my place..

But what surprised me is that, the man bowed his head "Alpha, Beta!" he said.

I looked at Nickolas and his face was so blank like a robot and his eyes... Speaking volumes... He node at the man..

Same was Alex.. I was hell confused.. I glance at Jeena and she gave me a nervous smile..

Ignoring all for now, i will ask them later...

I turned to man, i found his eyes gazed.. Like he was in sleep or someone has hypnotized or something..

I waved my and in front of him.. He snapped out, his eyes widden for a spilt second. He  gave me a small smile.

"What can I get for you Sir?"i asked him, confused of  his odd  behavior..

" O yes! I'll Have a cafe latte, with
3 pumpkin pie muffins, and make it take away " he said..

" Ok, please wait, I'll make your order really quick " i told him and went to kitchen..

I quickly made him latte and packed pumpkin pie muffins to take away.. Which I had already made this morning.

I came out and handed him his order" That will be $14, sir" i told him..

He handed me the cash telling me to keep the change and sprint out of cafe fast, as if he stayed for longer he was going to be punished ...

Must be in hurry.............

I walked up to all and looked at Nicolas , i saw Amy drooling in his arms cutely, and Nicolas had hold her like she was a new born baby.

"She asleep.. Let me take her she tent to drool in sleep.. Your shirt will get spoil.." i said..

But he refused..and looked down a small smile almost invisible came on his lips. "that's ok  i don't mind" he said..

I sat down again beside him.. "I have a question" i said.. All three looked at me. As if they new what I wanted to ask.

"Why everyone calls you with some roman letters ... And why did they bow down it so strange" i said.. And i saw how their eyes went wide.. Like being caught..

But then quickly manage to compose their expression..

"Its common in here... We bow are heads in front of Royals.." Alex explained.. But i didn't find his explanation logical..

"You mean to say the people here are divided into classes... Like old times?" i question.. Jeena nodded.. But didn't say anything further.. She looked uneasy..

"And what about the Alpha and Beta things?" I asked... And yet again they looked troubled..

"Its like a title..." I nodded.. Not wanting to go in further when all three of them struggled to answer my questions..

"So.. Should i also bow.. Before you" I asked.. But that question was answered with a low growl from the person beside me..

I turned to him and looked at him.. 'what is he a dog?' i thought..

"No.. No.. Laila.. You don't have to bow in front of anyone, infact it other way around" she said..

Making me frown at Jeena!!

"I think we should get going..." Alex said as he got up and helped Jeena to stand..

I also stood and took Amy from Nicolas Arms.. Our fingers brushed and it send Sparks through my body...
