prologue.

helloooo, im anya and this is my new story x so it basically begins with the profiles of each main character so we can get straight to the juicy stuff x hope you enjoy it.

*sidenote- i know ash is 20 but it doesn't really fit in the story.

LUKE HEMMINGS AGE 18- never meant for his underworld drug trading to pick him up anything but a little extra cash. He was dealing, his mates were dealing and even some of his uncles had been dealing the simple stuff for years throughout Perth. So when crisis hits his family and Luke is offered a more dangerous, higher paying job he hastily accepts. The new job requires more than Luke riding his push bike around the big city and keeping his mouth shut, but having to interact with some of the most dangerous men in Australia. When Luke starts to receive death threats from anonymous numbers he retreats to Runaway Hotel to organise new beginnings, leaving his school boy life behind for good.

RUBY NELSON AGE 17- Had it good. She was living with her high school sweetheart DANIEL JAMES and had been accepted in to the University of Canberra for the following years law course. After finding out he had not been accepted, Ruby's boyfriend Daniel demanded she decline the acceptance and wait until the next semester. After she refused, Daniel stormed out of the house and didn't arrive home till two the next afternoon, drunk off his face. When asked to go to bed, Daniel lashed out at Ruby and she ended up in hospital with a mild concussion and a serious rib fracture. After Daniel had ceased to visit her once, Ruby leaves in search of a place to stay and stumbles across Runaway Hotel as a perfect safe haven for her price range, leaving her happy ever after to rot in the outskirts of Perth for good.

ASHTON IRWIN AGE 19- Although being raised the leader of the biggest gang in Sydney, Ashton Irwin was the sweetest boy you'd ever meet. His left arm was covered in tattoos, all with different meanings and although he carried a big ego and a tough boy exterior, the kid wouldn't hurt a fly. He was tattooed at the only parlor in the small town of Ferndale, and most the time, he only got inked so he could chat to the parlours receptionist and tattoo artists daughter KYLIE GREEN. After many encounters with Kylie they were soon crazy for each other and would often spend their days together. But everything comes at a price. Kylie's father (the local tattoo artist) was also a member of the other big gang in town, Rivals of Ashton's fathers, so when all hell breaks loose, Ashton asks Kylie to flee to Runaway Hotel with him, so that they can live in peace and harmony together forever... But forever doesn't exist in the real world.

KYLIE GREEN AGE 17- Kylie's tough upbringing kept her grounded, unlike most girls her age she wasn't into social networks and boy bands, but rock bands and the fashion industry. She'd never forgotten the first time Ashton had walked into the tattoo lounge, and the way he shamelessly tried a new pickup line on her every time he'd come in to get inked, Ashton had been the best thing that happened to her. He reminded her what it was like to be happy, and have someone enjoy your company the way you enjoyed theirs. Her family was never stable, neither was Ashton's. And to have someone understand the level you had lived your whole life on to the extent where their life had been a mirror image of horrifying events somewhat comforted Kylie. So when there was a big fight between fathers and two local gangs, and Ashton saved the day by whisking Kylie away from it all was when she knew she was in love with Ashton, and that no one would ever change that.
