Sooyoung didn't like what she's feeling that moment, she was confused. Why... Why did he have to confess to her? It was sudden, she never thought of it. She thought.. She thought...
I have to turn him down.
She knew it's the best decision and there's no other option.
It's been three days and she still haven't talked to him yet. He still cooked the food and she still cleaned the apartment.
Her thoughts were disturbed when her phone rang. It was Seulgi. Thank God, finally someone she could talk to.
"Unnie! Why did you just call now?"
Seulgi laughed at the other side. "Mian, It's kind of busy here, wae? Did something happened? Did my cousin caused any trouble?"
"No, no. Not trouble but it does have something to do with him." She said reluctantly.
She was having second thoughts whether she'd tell her or not but in the end, she still did. Seulgi exclaimed excitedly.
"Jinjja? He asked you to think about it? Yaaah~ Isn't that a good thing?"
Sooyoung laughed bitterly. "I don't think so unnie."
"Huh? Why? You've been waiting for him, right?"
Sooyoung sighed with heaviness in her heart. She's right, she's been waiting for him but he came in such a wrong time and she can't let her feelings be known now.
"I'll tell you when you come back."
"Sooyoung-a what is it? You're making me anxious, is it that serious?"
Sooyoung chuckled. "A little." too much...
"Ah jinjja! You're making me want to go home now."
Sooyoung grinned. "Don't look forward to it."
They both talked for awhile then hanged up. It's almost time for her exam so she hurriedly went to her instructor.
After her exam, Sooyoung went home at the apartment and saw that Jungkook hasn't arrived yet. She looked up at the clock, it's almost nine.
Don't tell me he's not going home again tonight.
The doorbell chimes, Sooyoung isn't expecting anyone today. She opened the door to find Jungkook being carried by a guy around his age.
"I'm sorry to intrude like this but this guy's drunk."
Sooyoung already guessed that with the smell coming from them. She led him his room which she cleaned by the way since it looks like he has no intention of sleeping at her cousin's bedroom, after tucking him in his bed, Jungkook's friend said goodbye after introducing each other. He said that his name is Taeyong, Sooyoung said her thanks at the door waving him goodbye.
She was wiping his face with towel because he's sweating and his face is red when she heard him whispered. Sooyoung thought she was awake but saw that his eyes are still close so she ignored what he said but then he talked once again, this time Sooyoung can't help but stare at him.
"Noona~ I'm not a kid anymore... Please be my girlfriend, please?" Jungkook asked with eyes half close.
Sooyoung chuckled, he's so cute. "Do you really want to know my answer?"
Jungkook nodded with eyes closed.
Sooyoung leaned towards him and whispered to his ear. Smiling regretfully, she whispered to him her answer though he wouldn't know. It was her intention anyway, that he wouldn't hear her.
