About 10 minutes after waking up we began the rest of our journey. We ran for 4 hours till we reached the spot that the pack was supposed to be at. They left a marking in the dirt pointing to where they went and we began to run once again and continued for 35 minutes till we reached a clearing with a decent sized group of wolves considering everything.
"Alpha's back!" shouted a young female with glee. She started to run over but stopped short finally noticing me. "Who is that?" venom laced her voice as she asked the question. You'd think that I had done something wrong, but I never met any of these wolves in my life. "This is my daughter and Cole's sister, Raven" my father answered with a sigh.
"What?!" the female screamed and the rest of the pack began to gather out of curiosity. "Pleasure to meet you," I said with my voice shaking slightly. I was nervous. "Smells like humans," one wolf said with disgust. The wolves began to scream that I shouldn't be there and would only slow them down and cause another mouth to feed.
I sighed and flattened my ears against my head. These wolves hate me and I have no idea what to do. The only wolves I knew were my mother and now my father and brother, but they're family. It didn't matter how I acted around them.
" she doesn't belong here!" the she-wolf shouted. " that's enough Rose!" my father shouted. Cole stood and said, " alright everyone back to what you were doing." Then he walked off with father as the wolves spread out. I just sat there uncomfortably until a handsome male walked over to me. " hello there, my name is Hinto. I apologize for my sister and the pack's behaviour, it's just really difficult taking care of the members we already have. they're scared, that's all." he said kindly. " my name is Raven and there is no reason for you to apologize, I understand their fear." I said back with a small smile.
" I never knew alpha had a daughter," he said. " I didn't know that I was even a wolf or that I had a brother until yesterday," I said with a small chuckle. He let out a small chuckle that made me giggle, it was contagious. " have you ever gone hunting before? also, do you know how to fight?" he asked curiously. " nope" I stated. he laughed a bit and asked, " how does a wolf not know how to fight and hunt?" "I lived with a human, I never needed to fight or hunt," I answered. " well, I can teach you if you want" he offered. "I would appreciate that thanks," I said with a smile. " cmon I'll show you a nice spot to sleep," he said while getting up. I got up and followed him to a beautiful but secluded clearing. I looked around in aw and he laughed at me. He showed me two beds made of soft moss and laid in one. I laid down in the other one and fell into a deep sleep immediately. I dreamed of happy times with my mother.
I was looking forward to tomorrow because I wanted to help and prove myself to the pack. I was going to learn what I needed to do just that.
If you could suggest this book to other people and get some more support I would really appreciate it. Until next time, stay safe and awesome warriors!~
