Aliens

It's been four hours since the earthquake. We've mainly sat in silence. The Doctor looks frustrated. He mumbling to himself, "If only I had the TARDIS." I finally asked what the TARDIS is.
"Time And Relative Dimensions In Space." He said proudly but still irritated. I looked at him confused. "And that is...?" I asked.
"Our only way out. If I came into this room. But I don't have it with me and I'm usually good at figuring things out without the TARDIS but now I have failed. Our only was is the TARDIS. We're stuck."
"I'm sure there's someway we can get out of this."
"I still don't get it. Wyoming isn't a place to have earthquakes." Allen mentioned.
"Well it did happen." I said to him.
"Maybe it didn't." The Doctor said coming out of his frustration. "Maybe there's something else that made the quake."
"Like what? Terrorists?" I said frightened.
"Actually I'm thinking of something a little more out of range."
I just looked at the Doctor with a blank face. I obviously didn't understand what he was getting at.

"It's a little hard to explain but I think I know who did this." The Doctor added still leaving us with blank faces just staring at the Doctor for an explanation.

"Flogtrin's. They usually start they're attack with a simulation of an earthquake like this and then they wait days maybe months to actually attack."

"Flogtrin's? Attack? Months?" I said frantically.
"Well you see Flogtrin's are aliens from the planet Xo. And they wait days or months to study us. The earthquake or the fake earthquake is them putting they're equipment in the ground, but it's invisible so no one sees it and people just think it's a normal earthquake. Once they learn what they need to learn to take down a planet they attack."
Allen and I look at each other. I move closer to Allen showing I don't trust the Doctor and I could tell Allen wasn't believing a word this guy said either.

"I can tell you're hesitant to believe me. I mean it'd probably be worse if I mentioned I'm an alien too. But I can prove it. My TARDIS takes me anywhere and anytime I want to go to. And this..." he pulled out a weird looking pen out of his suit pocket. "This is called a sonic screwdriver." I laughed a little bit cause it was hilarious how crazy this man was. He sighed in disappointment. Then he aimed it at a light that was turned off from the earthquake. The end of the sonic screwdriver glowed blue and made a very annoying sound that I can't even explain just high pitch and constant. But soon after that light and the other lights still attached turned on.

"So it can only turn on lights?" I asked in a mocking way.
"No it does way more than that."
"Weird."
"Anyways you can trust me."

Out of nowhere a corner of our room ripped off. The lights turned off again and being able to look outside I noticed that only the library and the streets around it had been disturbed, the rest of the town looked normal but deserted. The earthquake must have scared off everyone. Our main focus wasn't on the town it was what ripped the library corner out. There was a spaceship about the size of a round trampoline. And not one of those tiny personal trampolines, family sized trampolines but definitely not as big as I thought a spaceship would be. There was only one person controlling the spaceship. The alien landed the spaceship on the edge of the library where he ripped it off and got out.

The Doctor didn't look scared, he looked ready to face this alien. I then started to believe everything the Doctor said.

The alien didn't look too different from us except it had fur instead of hair on top of its head and eyebrows. It looked really angry and kept eye contact with the Doctor. It seems like they have met before.
"So you figured me out." The alien said to the Doctor with his arms folded. We figured he knew what we were talking about from their equipment they dropped.
"You can't fool and old foe with old tricks." The Doctor said back to him. The Doctor looked at him without fear and his head tilted down staring the alien down like he could easily win.
"Well I wouldn't have used the same tactics if I knew you were here."
"Like you have any other tactics." I was starting to smile at the comebacks they were saying. They were pretty good and witty. I thought the Doctor was pretty cool. And I felt safe around him more than I expected to trust a stranger who said they were an alien.

"Since you know who I am and have seen what I can do why don't you just run along now and go back to your home planet and leave this world and any other innocent world filled with hope alone." The Doctor threatened the alien.
"No. I won't give up that easy. Iv'e learned from the last time and I can beat you this time. We already know what we need to do to ruin this world. It was quite easy to figure out. The easiest to figure out actually. And I'm not telling you what they're weakness is." The alien got back in his spaceship. "See you later Doctor." He flew away.

"Why didn't you just take him down right then and there?" Allen asked the Doctor angrily.
"Because he's going back to his family and we don't want to piss them off anymore than we already have. And I don't just take down people unless I absolutely need to and I didn't need to then."
"So what are we gonna do?"
"We are not gonna do anything, I am going to deal with this alone. Now that he ripped the side of the building off it's closer to the ground you two can climb down and go home."
"How are we supposed to just go home after this? After we know who you are and that aliens exists a d they're gonna attack us?" I asked.
"I don't care how just do it. I don't want to be responsible for your lives so I'm saving you now and telling you to just go and have faith that they aren't gonna take down the planet and move on with your lives." Allen agreed with the Doctor.
"I don't want you getting hurt, please just come home with me."
"Fine. But I won't forget this moment." I walked away with Allen angrily.

We walked around a corner and then Allen stopped.
"What are you doing?" I asked him.
"Spying. You really think we were just gonna go home a do nothing while he has all the fun? No! We're gonna follow him. I'm just waiting for him to not be able to see us."
"So you were just talking bull when you said you didn't want me getting hurt?"
"No I don't want you getting hurt, that's why I'll protect you."
"But what if you can't? They're aliens not bullies."
"Then the Doctor will save us, we won't be too far behind him anyways and once he finds out we followed him it'd be too late to make us go back."
"Ok fine let's do this." We smile at each other and Allen gives me a quick but passionate kiss before we started following the Doctor.
