Random TLOS Thoughts

Animated TLOS Movie

I've suddenly wondering about an animated TLOS movie. This totally because because of gcldies 's recent post.

I'm really biased but animation is really cool. Especially for TLOS. Like:

- Conner is known for being dramatic and animation can show that waaaay better than live
- Many fairy tales (eg. The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast) gained popularity as animated movies. What is TLOS about? Fairy tales! It can be a nice reference!
- animation kinda has more of a magical taste to it. It's also easier to express magic.

I personally think the "old" style of animation suits TLOS better than the recent CGI (eg. Tangled) ones.

Also, no offence to anyone, but I'm not much of a "book to live movie" person.
- that CGI budget is gonna be hella expensive if it's a live movie. It's also probably going to be cringy and unrealistic.
- I'm also pretty sure they'll screw up the live cast some way or another (seriously, how will they find the twins?)
- sometimes real people can't exactly look like the character as described in the book
- also they'll probably screw up some of the scenery due to budget
- that Percy Jackson movie

Anyways this my personal viewpoint I'm in love with animation bye.
