I turned to face him. The same puppy face with blue eyes was there. He was handsomer than last summer which could have been nearly impossible. When I first came up here I thought I was over that crush on him. Now here I was standing in front of him. A sudden wave of longing washed over me.

I caught feelings again.

"Yes I did miss you." I told him trying not to sound like I still liked him.

He smiled that perfect smile. "I missed you too." He faintly chuckled. "I need to go check on the cows."

I nodded and waved him off. The butterflies were in my stomach. No I told myself. You have a boyfriend you are over him. What if I never was over him? I will just wave this off.

Rose and Elizabeth came inside after he left. They looked at me with the you like him eyes. I shook my head hoping they would believe me to no avail.

"Amelia it's okay to like Matthew. I think you two would be adorable together." Rose told me.

"But don't take it far. I and slightly protective over my little brother." Elizabeth added on.

I laughed them off. "Guys I don't like Matthew. " They playfully rolled their eyes. We went back and forth arguing about it for ten minutes till he got back.

He had over heard me say I didn't like him, and wore a sulken expression the rest of the time I was there.

"Well I better go," I excused myself.

" I'll take you." Rose offered but Mrs. Johnson wanted her to do the sweeping. So she would come over whenever she was done.

I sprinted back to Nikki's and slammed the door behind me.

"Sooooooo how did it go?" She immediately questioned me.

"Matthew was there."

She gasped. "Tell me everything."

"Well I told Mrs. Johnson I missed her. He then asked if I had missed him. Which I had alot apparently. Then he smiled that awe so perfect smile, and said he missed me too. Then Rose and Elizabeth was like you like him. And started playfully picking on me. I said I didn't like him. He had somehow over heard and was droopy the rest of the time I was there."

"Hun, I think you do like him, and it sounds to me like he feels the same way you do."

"Nikki, you know he couldn't like me. He's so perfect and I'm not."

"Darling, anyone could love you weather they are "perfect" or not."

"Thank you sis. I better go do your garden."
