Noah's POV

•••

"For God sake, Noah. Snap out of it and get to work." My mother said breaking my train of thoughts. I sighed and licked my lips before going to the bathroom. My mother and I owned a little Shop here and have been selling for almost two years now. And now that I finally started to wait the tables she's been on my back.

I entered the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. My skin was as white as snow and my hair stood up perfectly. I'm not gonna lie, I wasn't bad looking. But I wasn't good looking enough to get a boyfriend either. Yep, I'm gay. As straight as a rainbow.

"Noah!"

I groaned as I heard my mother call out for me. I quickly washed and dried my face before heading back out.

"I'm here, I'm here." I said and grabbed my notepad and pen before heading towards the table I was instructed to be at. I put on my famous smile and looked at the costumer. It was a boy. Blue hair, pale skin, so not muscular but was super cute.

"Hey, what can I get for you?" I asked politely and waited for his answer. His eyes flickered towards me and for a second I swear I saw something flash in them. I gulped and raised an eyebrow seeing he couldn't speak.

"Cat got your tongue?" I asked and chuckled. His cheeks turned red and he looked down at his phone.

"I would like a mocha and two chocolate chip cookies." He mumbled barely audible. I wrote that down and nodded before walking away.

"Don't think about it." A voice said from behind me and I turned around to see my best friend smirking at me. I sarcastically gasped and glared at him playfully.

"Think about what? I was thinking nothing." I said and handed my mother my notepad before resting against the counter. Tim looked at me as if I just called him a nun before shaking his head.

"He's pretty cute." He said and took a chair before sitting next to me. I looked at him confused and he nodded his head towards the guy from earlier.

"Oh God, Tim no." I replied and blushed a little. He rolled his eyes before biting down on the straw in his drink.

"Whatever you say, princess. Welp, since you don't like him, I'll try my luck." He said and got up. I quickly grabbed his hand and chuckled.

"You're not going over there, he's way out of your league. And besides, you're seeing someone." I said and pulled him against my chest staring at him in his eyes. I licked my lips and stared at his before slowly leaning in. His face turned crimson red making me burst out laughing.

"Fuck my asshole, Noah." He said and flipped me the bird as he backed away still blushing.

"Oh, you would like that." I replied and winked at him before turning my attention back to the blue haired boy. He was reading a book now and his leg was hanging off the other. That screams gay.

"Stop daydreaming and go over there with his order." Mama said and placed the crate down. I took it and made my way to his table.

"Here you go, that will be $11.50. You can choose to pay it now or after you're done eating." I said and smiled before placing the crate down on the table. He nodded before putting down his book and pulled out his wallet from his pocket. He handed me the money which I gladly took.

"Thank you and have a nice day." I said and walked away. I finally dropped the stupid smile and sat down next to Tim. We both stared at him for a while before facing each other.

"I'm definitely gonna hook you up with that guy." He said which startled me.

"What? No! I was gonna say the same thing for you." I responded. He rolled his eyes and shook his head.

"Nope, I don't want him. He's better off without me and with you." He said and nodded. I quickly shook my head and glared a little.

"Hell no, you know I don't wanna date anyone right now." I replied.

"You said that two weeks ago and went on a date with ugly David." He said and tilted his head to the side.

"Hey, David wasn't ugly. He was good looking with a perfect personality, something you don't look for in guys." I explained and stuck my tongue out.

"Well, you're right. I'll fuck this one instead." He suggested and got up. I pulled him back down and stared at him.

"You are not going to fuck and drop that guy. I mean look at him, he's as fragile as a rose." I said and smiled a little. We looked at him and faced each other again.

"Roses have thorns darling, so underneath all of that cuteness I'm guessing he's an asshole. Now, let me work my magic." He replied and went off before I could stop him. I face palmed before getting up and headed towards the counter. Minutes later he came back with his lips pursed.

"Well?" I asked and waited for his response.

"I was right, those thorns started to show the minute I arrived at the table." He said and sat down with shock written all over his face. I laughed and started cleaning.

"I told you forget it. Now can we stop talking about cutie over there and focus on us being lonely for the rest of our lives?" I asked kinda mocking him. He looked up but not at me which made me confused. I turned to face what he was staring at only to see the 'cutie' himself in front of me.

'Uh, uhmm..." I mumbled not sure what to say. I gulped as he stared at me. His eyes were roaming mine as if there was something inside of there that he was searching for. After the staring contest, he handed me the crate before walking out of the shop.

"What the fuck just happened?" I asked after a moment of silence. I turned to face Tim who was just as shocked as I was.

"Either you just found yourself another boyfriend or he's gonna torture you till you apologize for calling him cute. My guess is the first one." He said and giggled before getting up and started chanting over and over again.

"I told you so, I told you so, I told you so. He's better with you than me. I told you so, I told you so, I-"

"Shut up." I groaned and headed towards the bathroom.
