Request: Could you do a Sweetpea x Northside!Average!Reader where the reader struggles with body insecurities and is hella nerdy. And Sweetpea just melts the insecurities away like the beautiful human being he is.

A/N: Hope you like this it's only a small piece. feedback welcome.

You pour over the book in front of you trying to find the best pieces of information for your English paper. You had were completely immersed in writing the paper when a conversation drew you from your work.
"Don't be mean so what if she isn't that pretty." You hear a voice behind you, you immediately get self conscious, your insecurities flaring up. They probably weren't even talking about you, your insecurities are just messing with you, you repeat that mantra in your mind.
"I'm just saying the colour isn't doing anything to help." You look down at your clothes, you knew this shirt made your body look disgusting, you regretted wearing it the moment you left the house. The girls picked up their stuff walking out the library, but the thoughts kept on haunting you. You didn't even realise the buzzing of your phone on the table, Sweets messaging you that he was outside the library to pick you up.

"Princess," You feel Sweets lean down to give you a kiss on the cheek. Usually Sweets wasn't this cute in public especially on the Northside he couldn't ruin his tough Southside image but no one is hanging around the library now. He flops down on the chair next to you, a goofy smile on his face.
"You wouldn't believe what Fangs did today," He starts off before noticing your weak smile.
"Princess what's wrong?" Usually you are pretty good at covering your insecurities but you could never hide it from Sweets, he could read you like a book.
"Nothing, I just want to go home." You mumble to him starting to collect your things, packing them away into your bag. You couldn't help but spot Sweets concerned face in the corner of your vision, it only made you more upset. You love Sweets showing his concern for you, but you hated showing people your vulnerability, it made you feel weak and your insecurities stupid. You rush past the doors of the library leaving behind a shocked Sweets.

You stand by his bike as he rushes to catch up with you, you begin to fiddle with the helmet in your hands adjusting the strap to fit you.
"Y/N what, what is wrong? Did someone do something? Who did it, Y/N I swear whoever it was..." Gently pulling the helmet out of your hands and resting it on the bike.
"Sweets," You interrupt him. "No one did anything. I swear." You quickly reassure him upon seeing his disbelieving face. "What's going on then Sweetheart? I hate seeing you upset please let me make it better." You lean against his bike exasperated knowing that Sweets won't let go until he helped make you feel better.
"Sweets I... feel like I'm not good enough." You breathed out quietly.
"Not good enough?" He speaks in confused disbelief.
"Sweets c'mon don't act shocked," You finally burst from all the insecurities swirling in your head. "Sweets I hate the way I look, how unperfect it is. I feel so worthless. I'm just boring and ugly and nothing like what you deserve. Just look at me Sweets." You bite your lip to try and stop the tears, but that didn't seem to stop them from pouring down your face.
"I am looking at you Y/N, and I know nothing you are saying is true. I wish you could see what I see, what a beautiful person you are." He cupped your face staring deep into your eyes.
"What I see is a girl who's gorgeous in every single way, you are this incredible intelligent person. Who has completely changed my life I had no idea I could love someone like this, that I could ever be this happy. You mean everything to me Y/N. Don't you dare let anyone tell you different Y/N."
You couldn't stop the smile spreading across your face, you could see the pure love in Sweets eyes. The sick anxious feeling settled at the pit of your stomach had risen, you felt ridiculous for letting your insecurities get to you.
"Now let's go home." He says kissing you on the forehead pulling away to lightly pull the motorbike helmet over your head adjusting the strap.
"One thing you must admit I look ridiculous in this helmet." You say with a giggle.
"I've never seen someone pull of a motorbike helmet like you do." He says sweetly. "Anyway there is no way around it safety first especially when I'm carrying precious cargo" He leans down to affectionately tap his helmet against yours, causing a blush to spread across your cheeks, thankful that the helmet is here to cover it.
