Days 1933: War

Layla's reckless driving made long-distance travel feel short. So Short. All of us arrive at our camp. Layla park the jeep in front of our tent which is kinda further away from the other tents.

"Looks like we manage to get through all of them." said Ghost as she jumps out of the jeep.

Layla did the same as well and starts running towards the medic tent.

"Yeah. But I still need some explanation from the higher-ups." I said.

"Sorry, but. You're out of luck. most of the higher-ups here are already on the frontline." said a girl.

"Thanks for the information miss Secretary. Very helpful indeed." I said.

"Can you just stop being mad at me.?" The girl asks.

"If it ain't for you, both my and Miku's rank would have gone even higher." I reply while taking a seat in the tent.

Layla comes back with some medical supplies and gives them to Ghost.

"She can't do it all by herself, you know." I said looking at Layla with a smile.

"Let me do it." said the girl as she snatches the medical supplies from Layla's hand.

"That's fine Eleanor. I can handle it myself." said Ghost.

"Anyway, I guess you'd better gather some information regarding Operation Barbarossa." I said.

The girl just leaves without saying anything.

"I wonder why they gave me such a weird secretary." I said.

Both Ghost and Layla just smile.

"Anyway. Are you sure you can handle it yourself, Ghost.?" I ask.

"Yeah. Are you going anywhere.?" Ghost asks.

"Gonna help her out. I know the higher-ups won't listen to her." I reply and leave the two of them.

-Several Minutes Later-

"That's all.?" I ask.

"That's all. What else did you need.?" Eleanor ask me back.

"Want to know what the heck does Hitler think when he invades the Soviets." I reply.

"Some people said that he tried to do what Germany wants to do in world war 1." said Eleanor

"Come to think of it. We blitzkrieg France through the Ardene Forest. That's the same plan that was executed during world war 1." I said.

"But now Hitler once again gamble his army and attack the Soviets. It's the same thing that Germany tries to accomplish in world war 1." said Eleanor.

"Hope the other on the west side are all fine." I said.

"How long exactly we'll have to be here." I ask.

"10 more minutes." said IA.

"Well make it to 10 seconds. We'll be surrounded by France if the tracks ain't gonna fix in time." I shouted.

"We'll just have to abandon the tank if that's the case." said Lily.

"No. I don't want to do so. I know our infantry can hold them off." I said.

"Fine. but we need someone to go help them out." said Lily.

"I'll go." said Rayla.
