when luke left and went back to the car,
he was not expecting lexi
to be sitting in the passenger seat
waiting for him.
he had thought she ran out and
went back on the road and
searched for a taxi,
but no,
she was there.

he breathed out,
"i'm taking you home,
and i'm letting you go."
she seemed surprised by his last statement,
but she didn't want to react to it...
