The party was set to start in 2 hours and I was in crisis mode, I had ordered this dress online and now that I had it on, there was just a lot going on. The dress was neon orange and really complimented my complexion and body shape but I was just a bit body-conscious. I'd basically done all my hygiene and I was dressed all I had to now was my makeup. I've actually fallen in love with makeup, I rarely ever wear it because ain't nobody got time for that🙄🙄 but I love doing it and practising on myself when I'm at home.
I decided to wear minimal makeup as I was already wearing something bright but to make my eyes pop I put some orange eyeshadow on my bottom eyelid. Then I set my face with setting spray, I then let out my hair and Afro'd it out. It's definitely grown.
I put on my glasses and proceeded to cream up my legs, arms and chest with some shimmering body oil before putting on my ankle socks and trainers and spraying some perfume. Yeah, that's right, I said TRAINERS. You must be made if you think I'm gonna break my neck in a pair of heels.
I grabbed my ripped denim jacket and bum bag before jogging down the stairs to wait for my friends to come.
"Wooooi look pon you looking all grown," my mum said entering the room. "Mum you don't have to announce it" I said getting shy. "Okay well, I need you to call me when you get there because you know if u don't I'm gonna go into panic mode" she said sternly. " Yes, mum" I replied, knowing the routine.
Soon enough I heard a knock at the door meaning my friends were here. " okay love you bye" I said giving my mum a hug and a kiss before opening the door. Just as I did so T descended from the stairs . " oi where's she going dressed like that?" He said angrily. " Byyyyyyyyyyyeeeee" I sang shutting the door and running to the bottom of the drive. "Heeeeeyyyy" they all said gassing me up, not gonna lie I was feeling myself, then we all exchanged hugs.
"AND DON'T BE CHATTING TO NO MANDEM KEY" T shouted as we walked down the road.
"Stop shouting T, it's late you gonna wake up all the neighbours with your load mouth" my mum cussed. " Fine, it's cold as fuck out here man" he cussed while standing there shirtless. " A what you say" she cussed, the patois coming out when she was bex. " Nothing mummy" he said before quickly closing the door.
"Your brother is so fit" Destiny exclaimed while hooking my arm as we walked down the street. "Ewwwww" I said pretending to vomit. Destiny had her hair in faux locs and was wearing a blue sleeveless bodycon dress with a denim jacket and some vans, she looked very grown.
When we arrived at the party the music was blasting, you could feel the bass from across the road. A couple of roadmen were scattered around the front of the house, smoking weed and having discussions. " ISIAH, MY LOVE" Destiny screamed as she ran to him, oh brother🙄 this gyal only saw him yesterday. While Destiny and Isiah were busy doing THAT I entered the party looking for Scrapz. " Aye, sweetnesses wanna dance" I heard before I felt a hand on my bum. " You better back the fuck up before you get smacked the fuck up" I said turning around " my bad" he said holding his hands up before walking. I wandered into the kitchen in search of food and a drink with my jacket in my hand as it was very hot, and getting a lot of stares along the way.
Thereby the side of the sink socialising was Scrapz looking so fine😍😍. He was wearing black jeans, black and white air max 97s, a white Nike t-shirt and a gold chain and watch on his wrist with his black buffer jacket open. I know it was simple, but he looked nice.
