At School
I sat down in my seat in third period, right next to... Adam. It felt really awkward sitting next to him because of an incident that happened about a month ago (which I will NOT be mentioning 😅) but I'm sure (or at least I hope) that he forgot about it.
"Alright kids, pull out your math homework from yesterday! We will be going over it soon!"
Crap. We had homework?? I completely forgot!!
I guess I said that out loud because then Max whispered back, "Don't worry, me too haha."
I looked at him worriedly.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Sorry, I don't necessarily think it's funny because I actually care about my grades," I said. Wow. Did I actually say that?? I thought.
"Gee, thanks, Gab," he gave me a smile and chuckled a little.
WHAT THE HECK AM I BECOMING FRIENDS WITH MY CRUSH?!?!?! WHAAATTTTT I screamed in my head.
I looked at his gorgeous blue eyes and beautiful swoopy blonde hair. It caught me off guard when my teacher said, "Gabi, your homework?"
"Oh um... um... I-I-forgot to do it."
Thankfully she understood. "That's okay, just bring it tomorrow."
"Okay." Phew. I didn't get in trouble.
Then Tiffany said to her friends, "Oh look, Miss Smartypants forgot to do her homework haha!"
I blushed. Hard. Then I hid my face.
