We arrived at Black Plains, and found some Synthetics going towards the base. Giant robotic creatures with specialized CPU plating on their massive legs and head. The plating is light brown, with some brown stains of dried blood and rust. The metal part was very spiky, with wires coming out of it. Synthetics fired large bullets out of their tube in the front of their mouth. A single round of those bullets could kill a person forever. One of the Synthetics noticed us and began firing at us. "Oh crap! Jump off and activate the parachutes, guys!" I yelled. Everyone jumped off, including the newly-healed patients. Everyone pulled out their rocket launchers and began firing at the Synthetic. It took five total rockets to destroy the Synthetic. We all carried on our way, seeing the Black Plains base up ahead. "Alright! There it is! Move forward!"
"It's too far ahead, but the dropships are destroyed." Maddie said.
"Not a problem. There are some cars nearby, half-destroyed but still operating."
"There's 2 vans and an Avia, from what I see. Oh, and a Golf Cart."
"Some people can ride in the back of the Avia."
"Still not enough."
"There's more than that. Let me check." I jumped up to where she was. "There are 2 cars right at the base of this. Looks like their brand is Volta."
"I didn't see that. Let's see what we can fit." She started drawing a graph. "So there's 11 rebels, 7 advisors, and then me, Mason, Varia, you, Benton, and three Phoenix Marines. Let's see" She drew a small graph depicting who would ride in which car.
"Looks to me as if it'll work out. Let's go!" I said. Everyone got to the selected vehicles. Since the Volta's were broken down, the Advisors had to fix it up with their magic blue-light-emitting hands. Everyone got into their cars and drove off. "So what made you guys decide to help us?" I asked the advisors.
"We were being kept as slaves by the CPU. When we realized that you were beginning an uprising, we decided to break free in order to help. Since they let us keep our magic to help them, we escaped with ease." one of the advisors answered.
"Huh. I see."
"Look forward, Free O—" Time stopped. I knew exactly what that meant.
"We meet again, Free One."
"Not you again..."
"I'm sorry to take your time. But there's a warning up ahead for you. This will be a battle... You can't win... Quite anticlimactic, considering what you've been through... All those CPU... Fighting the Advisors back at White Forest... You won't survive this time..."
Time started again. I crashed the car into a ton of rocks, and then I blacked out.
