"Kaki?" Kakashi turned to see Mia sit up slowly. He turned to look back out at the sunset.

"I always love watching sunsets...don't you?" He murmured. He sensed her move closer to him.

"I always dreamt of being Hokage. My grades and skills weren't strong enough though. I struggled but you were always there. You cuddled up to me when I studied late into night. I'm never going to forgive you for the miscarriage," she sensed him stiffen, "Because there's nothing to forgive. Kakashi, why were you sorry? These things happen... Love is never perfect." Mia looked at him.

"I thought you were devastated at losing the baby." He murmured.

"Yes, I was sad but not because of the baby. You see, I loved that baby because I finally found my life's destiny. That baby, our baby, was my actual dream for the future. I want to spend every waking minute of my life with you. I will never stop loving you. But I guess I'm too late to-" She gasped when he turned suddenly, his eye wide with tears.

"Mia...I- love you. Will you- will you spend every waking minute with me from now on?" Kakashi brought her close. Mia's eyes brimmed with tears as she pounced in his grasp pinning him with a smile. They laughed before sitting up. Kakashi picked a lake flower and using his control, weaved it into a ring. He slid it on Mia's finger. They stared out into the sunset again.

"When we marry, can you promise me something? I want to name a girl Aiko, if we have a girl, is that-" Kakashi started before Mia kissed him.

"Yes. Aiko. I love-" Mia looked back at rustling leaves.

"Quit it Naruto! I told you they would get back together!" Sakura whispered. Mia blushed deeply, and Kakashi suddenly felt very hot.

"Go make camp now or no one eats tonight!" Kakashi yelled as the three split. Kakashi looked back and saw Mia giggling.

"What is it, Mia?" He asked, confused.

"You're going to make a perfect father someday..." Mia laughed, raising her arms to be carried. Kakashi smiled beneath his mask. He lifted her with ease and held her close. He whsipered in her ear softly, "And you'll make a great mother, future Mrs. Hatake."
