~Keith's POV~

I growl, kicking the door of the closet. I cant believe, out of all the other paladins, I had to get stuck in here with Lance. The loudest, most obnoxious of them all. I turn to the blue paladin to see him curled into the corner, his eyes darting around the tiny room. I scoff.

"What, are you scared or something?" I ask, sitting down in a corner.

"N-no..." He says, looking away from me.

"Liar. You're terrified. You've fought in battle against the Galra and yet, you are fucking scared of small spaces. You're such a little bitch, Lance. Why can't you just toughen up like the rest of us and stop crying your fucking eyes out over every little thing that happens to you." I hiss, looking at the shaking paladin. He looked at me, his eyes wide as his shakes grew more violent, his breathing quickening as he started to hyperventilate.

I sit there, stunned as I watched him clutch at his chest as he gasps for air, tears streaming down his face.

He tucks in on himself, hyperventilating.

"What's wrong? Why're you like this?" I ask, staring at him. Lance didn't respond, his hands reaching up and gripping his hair as he struggled to even out his breathing. I stare at him, my eyes narrowed as he tugged at his brown locks, his breathing not slowing down.

"Lance, what's wrong?" I ask, starting to grow worried.

"F-f-fuck o-o-o-off." He says, glaring at me with bloodshot eyes. I frown, looking at him. The door to the closet hissed open and Hunk peered inside.

"What happened?" He asks, gently coaxing Lance into his arms to try to calm the blue paladin.

"We had an argument and then he started to hyperventilate and shake..." I say, shrugging. Hunk cradles Lance close, petting his hair to calm him down.

"He's having a panic attack and because of something you said." Hunk says, his eyes holding a hostility I had never seen in his eyes before. I turn away, biting my lip guiltily.

"I'm sorry." I whisper, sighing.

"Don't apologize to me." Hunk says, standing up and walking off with Lance in his arms.

The next few days went by with meals being the only place anyone other than Hunk and Pidge saw Lance. He walked into the mess hall, avoiding my gaze as he sat next to the Yellow paladin, starting to eat his food goo quietly.

After a few moments of silence, I slammed my spoon down on the table, looking at Lance.

"Dammit, Lance. You can't avoid me forever! Just talk to me, tell me what I did wrong!" I shout, losing my temper. Lance looks up at me, his eyes dull.

"I think you know what you did wrong. You just don't know how to admit to yourself that what you did was wrong." Lance says simply, going back to eating his food goo. I sigh.

"I-I'm sorry. I'm sorry for saying what I said. But if you want to keep on avoiding me, go right on ahead." I say, taking my empty dish and putting it in the sink, walking off.

~Lance's POV~

"Hunk..." I whisper as he pets my hair, cuddling me after having to calm me after another panic attack.

"Yes Lance?"

"Sh-should I forgive him?" I ask.

"I don't know... do you think you should?"

"I don't know." I whisper, sitting up.

"I-I love him, Hunk... y-yet he hates me..." I whisper, rubbing my wrists.

"He doesn't hate you, Lance... he just has a weird way to show you that he doesn't hate you." Hunk says, confusing me.

"I don't know anymore..." I whisper, sighing.

"Maybe you should talk to him."

"N-no... h-he'll just end up yelling at me, like always." I whimper, hugging myself tightly.

"Then let him do the talking. Don't say anything, just let him talk."

"No. I'll just avoid him. It's not affecting Voltron, so it's okay." I whisper, standing up and leaving Hunk's room. I wander the halls aimlessly, not even caring when the lights dimmed, signalling bedtime. I walked past the training deck to see Keith training, his eyes tinted yellow and his skin tinted purple. He plunged his hand into the bot's chest and ripped out its core. I gasp and watch him, intrigued. Keith proceded to scream and rip out more cores, his fingernails elongating into claws as he tore into the robots' metal chests. Once he had completed the training session, he collapsed, his skin and fingernails turning back to normal. He noticed me and his eyes went wide.

"L-Lance... I-I didn't know that you were there." He says, hiding his hands from me. I walk to him quietly, hanging my head low.

"C-can you teach me how to be strong?" I ask softly.

"What do you mean?"

"You said I'm weak... I-I need to get stronger... c-can you teach me?" I ask. Keith was quiet for a moment as he looked down, ashamed.

"You're not weak, Lance... you're strong... and I'm sorry I couldn't see that... it's taken a few days, but... Lance, I'm sorry for what I said. There's nothing wrong with you. You're only human... I realise that now... we all have our different was of dealing with the pain..." He says, looking at the scattered robots.

"K-Keith..."

"Lance... I-I'm sorry." He says.

"It's okay." I whisper, hugging him tightly as we both cried quietly.
