(Marco's POV)

Star and I have been hanging around in our bedroom since theirs nothing else to do since today was our day off and well I just have star sleeping on my chest since she was tired and to be honest I'm too but I can't fall asleep for some reason....and now that I think of it, it's been a while since we had a moment of peace..last time I rememeber a moment of peace like this was before all the things that happened with toffee...man he was a pain in the ass but we got through him and oh and don't forget dark star which was much easier to get rid off than toffee but one things that caught me off guard was that she is much stronger than my star and she does pack a punch...
Penny for a thought... I heard star say as I turn my head in her direction
I giggled before answering
It's nothing star just thinking of the things that have happened in our life and they been pretty chaotic.. I said smiling

I quickly got up and started to change as I commanded the servant to prepare our best legion of soldiers and send them out to protect the kingdom while I change and head out
Marco I'm coming with you.. Star said as she followed me to the door but I stop and turn towards her
Star please you have to stay here while we protect the kingdom and if we fail I'll come here knowing your safe and take you away far from here.. I said as she wanted to rebel but she knew it was too dangerous for her
Okay and please be careful I don't want you to get hurt.. Star said as she headed back to the bed

I said as I closed the door and headed to the first floor as quick as possible, when I finaly reached the bottom floor I was hit by a powerful force that send me crashing through the wall and I layed there unconscious after what seem like a couple of minutes I felt one of my soldiers shaking me for me to wake up
My king! wake up! He said as he was shaking me to which I let out a painful gesture
Ugh... What happened? I asked
We been breached and we have to get you and Queen star out! He said as he pulled me to my feet
Okay I understand so we have to flee before they get us but who is attacking?! I asked him as I got up just for him to stand there and afraid to answer my question

Umm Sir you don't know him but he is known as the angel of death or death itself but we call him......Shadow... He said as everything went quiet and silence settled in which was broken by my soldier
Sir hurry Queen star and you sir have to flee our kingdom has fallen but their still hope if you get support from another kingdom
I left running towards our bedroom which I flung the door open just to see star sitting on our bed anxiously waiting
Marco! She yelled as she ran to hug me
Star we have to go our kingdom has fallen we need to flee before they capture us. I said as star chuckled

Really Marco we took Toffee on and beat him what can be worst than that. Star said with a smile of confidence

Where we going? I said but she just shut me up and pulled me into the portal which let to a place with alot of forest like features like trees, birds, flowers, a river and more but she quickly pulled me towards her direction

We walked for quite some time till we eventually reached a cave that had a door a massive freaking door
I saw how star walked towards it and placed her hand on the door as a bright light blind me well just for a bit after a while my vision was coming back and now the door that was previously closed was now open but the inside was dark so I made light with my power giving us some light so we could see
Star what is this place? I asked as I turned towards her
Marco welcome to our home for the next who knows days but this place contains history of Mewni which only the royals have been here

Ohhh and I was distracted by Hamilton the play it's so freaking good I recommend it and it will make you tear up or even cry
