I was led into this sorta temple which in fact as Star said contain pieces of mewni history
Star shouldn't we be planning an attack to take back our kingdom? I asked Star
Marco us two aren't strong enough. Star said to which I was just shocked to hear that
But Star we defeated toffee and he was strong like real- I was cut off as Star just put her hand over my mouth
Marco shush look. Star said as I look at where she was pointing to which was just a half open book with the name Shadow written in big letters to which star read
Shadow, he is a really strong opponent since the ways he attacks no one ever sees him or even makes it out alive in a battle with him, people say he is death itself....our war with this person lasted over 500 years but one day the attacks stopped we assume he had surrendered but I personally don't think so for the fact but we don't know..........i think we have found his weakness h- Star stopped reading
Star why you stop? I asked
Marco the page is ripped from that part...we were so close to finding a way to defeat him. Star said
Star, we have defeated toffee what makes you think we won't defeat shadow just like toffee he's gonna be defeated. I said
Marco he is over 1000 years don't you think he has more battle knowledge than us combine. Star said
Then what are we gonna do????I asked
I don't know but how the things looking we stand no chance.. Star said as she sat on the floor in defeat
Star the odds might be stack against us but who cares we will fight for our kingdom even if it kills us because I ain't willing to hide in fear from someone and if he is a living person who somehow manage to live that long he must have a weakness and we will find it and he might not even be as strong as he was back then because if he was we would've been dead by now don't u think.. I said
Star turned her gaze towards me and forced a smile she was scared and so was I but we have to do something for our kingdom.....for our child that's she's carrying
I stood up and reached out to star
Come one star let's look around we might find some useful stuff here.. I said as I pulled her up and brought her into a warm embrace
I felt her trembling in my arms and I comfort her by creasing her hair
I grab her chin and made her look into my eyes
Hey it's gonna be alright we will make it out of this.. I said as I gave her a kiss

We continue looking around star was going through the books that's were on the stands with the queens name above them while she was look at them I was just looking at other rooms in this temple but to no avail
Umm I said as I lean against the wall to which I felt the wall shift in place which caught me of guard
Hey Star ! I shouted to get her attention
Yes she said as she came into the room I was in
Look I said as I pushed the wall open to reveal a room with more books
I didn't know about this room which mean one of the past queens made this hidden room and didn't tell anyone since when we are made queens we are told many things and hidden safe temples and there hidden rooms but I wasn't told of this specific room so not even they knew.. star said as we walked into the room as we were walking but with every step I took I felt off, weird like I was getting a bad feelings of what could be in those books a past that was supposed to be forgotten but we found it by accident
Wait star let me open the book I don't want u to get something from the dust of if there anything spell traps on them. I said as I waved my hand for her to be behind me I reached for the main book that was in the center of the room

What I read I can't even put into words it was a past that was supposed to be forgotten and I agree with that cause it said of a time before the mewni kingdom was made there were people another kind of mewmans that roam the world but when the modern mewman came to existence they killed and murder those who were there before them and the ones who didn't have the will to fight were turn into slaves and were force to build the kingdom but once the mewman discovered magic those slaves they had were murdered or killed for entertainment and around that time shadow came into existence as well so if I had to guess shadow is part of the old kind of mewman and wants revenge for what was done to their people
This gave a whole another meaning to this war we are about to enter.. I said as I turn to star which was standing next to me as i was reading the book
