My eyes kept on looking at the widely opened sliding door which connected to the outside balcony. The flowy movement of the translucent curtains that caused by the cold air seduced me to get closer to them.

I touched the snow-covered rail as I closed my eyes, enjoying the chill breeze that hit my skin on that wintery night. Clear sky revealed the twinkling stars, appearing like a thousand of silvery dots on a black canvas.

"It's pretty,"

The universe is beautiful but people keep on saying the phrase of 'hellish world'.
Well.. It's different in my case.
To me, the world is mesmerizing.
But my life is the one that's shattering.

I giggled like a child at the thought that I still had time to enjoy my surrounding. I was being kept as a hostage and I had no prince on a white horse to come and rescue me.

Fuck all those Barbie and Disney movies that I watched before. The happy endings were all shitty.

A soft voice whispered beside my ear, persuading me to take a look at the ground beneath the balcony. It sounded so persuasive that I didn't take any action to think about it first.

I tiptoed as my head hung low, unconciously lean all my weight against the rail with no fear in me. The icy ground seemed intimidating.

A few words were floating around my mind and before I knew, I was already seating on the rail with my legs hanging freely in the air. My eyes glued to the ground from the 2nd floor, eager to make a contact with it soon.

One deep breath.
Two deep breath.
Three deep breath.
