"On three. Stay tight. One... two... three!" Rick yanked open the door and Daryl launched a smoke grenade out into the sleepy streets of Woodbury. He launched another to ensure that they would get enough cover for their attack. Perimeter guards started shouting and the gunfire began. The Governor rushed out into the night, smoke roiling through the air and gunshots echoing through the mist. He spotted Andrea firing into the smoke at anything that moved and rushed to her side.

"You alright?" Andrea glanced back over her shoulder before focusing back on the fight in front of her.

"I saw one of 'em." The man froze and looked over at her, blood freezing in his veins.

"Blood Rogue?"

"I'm not sure it was just a shadow." She fired into the mist at a darting shadow. Governor scanned the smoke, looking for the one he's heard the rumors about. Stories of a violent and murdering monster that split a man open with nothing but a bat and rage. That they were still walking around drenched in blood of both men and biters, looking for anything to rip apart with their bare hands. An unstoppable force of nature that not even two herds of biters could take down.

"We need to get off the street, we're not soldiers were survivors. Get off the streets, Blood Rogue could be anywhere." Rick and the others were holed up in a dead end alleyway, firing bullets just to keep the enemy at bay. Daryl looked around and knew they weren't gonna get out alive if they didn't move right now.

"Go, I'll lay down some cover fire."

"No! We stay together!" Maggie growled before whipping around the corner to fire off a few shots at the encroaching Woodbury forces.

"Too hairy. I'll be right behind ya. Ready!" He launched another smoke bomb into the courtyard. Everyone moved in unison to make their break for the walls, Daryl firing into the smoke to keep the others away so they could get out.

"Rick! Rick! C'mon!" The others had made it to the wall and were climbing over, now was the cop's only chance to follow and get out. He leapt up on the bus and turned to make sure that Daryl was coming after them.

"Daryl!" He glanced between his friend and his enemies.

"Go!" Rick growled but did as Daryl demanded and jumped the wall. With them gone, he was free to go wild. As high energy and gung-ho he was about killing these jackasses that kidnapped their people, he soon ran out of bullets and got caught. He was kicked to his knees and beat by gun butts and boots. Governor stepped out and moved his way to the inner circle to get a look at who their new prisoner was. A guardsman jumped forward and grabbed a handful of hair to yank his head back and look the Governor in his face.

"Who're you?" Daryl glared at the man and stayed silent. "Are you Blood Rogue?" He still simply glared at the Governor with murderous eyes. "Fine. Don't speak, we'll get answers soon enough." A man shoved his way through the crowd and froze when he realized who they had caught. A wide smile scrawled across his face and he sauntered closer.

"Well lookit here! I found me a baby brother!" Daryl looked over at the man as he spoke, his hard glare turning sharper the longer Merle spoke.

"Merle. Throwing your lot in with these asshats?" A gunman jolted forward and punched Daryl in the gut, the Dixon brother doubling over to catch his breath.

"Leave him be for now, just take him to the holding cells. I'll talk to him later." Daryl was yanked to his feet and shoved forward towards the same holding area that they found Glenn and Maggie in. Tying his wrists together, they kicked him in and slammed the door behind him. He sighed and slammed his foot into the door before angrily pacing the room. It wasn't too long before the door opened and he prepped for a fight, glaring angrily at Merle standing just inside the threshold.

"Ya here to be a pain some more?" Merle shrugged and sat down at the table in the middle of the room.

"I can't have a friendly chat with my own brother?" Daryl snorted and kicked back the empty chair so he could sit across from his brother.

"Depends. This an interrogation?" The older Dixon smirked and chuckled gently before running his tongue over his teeth in mock hurt.

"If it was, baby brother. I wouldn't be here." Eyes rolled and Daryl leaned back against his chair in boredom.

"Who's Blood Rogue? Seems like someone's got your Governor's balls in a vice." Merle laughed and nodded before leaning forward on his knuckles.

"Just some rumors we heard from a boy we met. He called himself Zero. Told us all about this insane person that he found and tried to help. Said they ripped one of his men open and strung his guts all around the room like Christmas from hell." He chuckled and bit down on his thumb with a smile.

"So what? Anyone can open up a guy and throw around some intestines."

"That's true, baby brother. But can they do it with nothing but a bat and their bare hands? That's what Zero told us. This Blood Rogue person had nothing but a bat and fingernails, ripped a man open and ran headlong into a whole herd of walkers. Two of them actually." Daryl raised his eyebrows and snorted in surprise. Even he's not that stupid to go into the dead center of a whole herd of walkers.

"Sounds like quite the ballsy man. I get why your master's a bit worried."

"I ain't no slave, Daryl. Besides, you haven't heard the real kicker of the story." Daryl glared at his brother but shrugged and motioned for him to continue and explain what he meant.

"When Zero told us about this Blood Rogue, he made it sound like this was some war god on earth. Some wild ass Rambo shit. Governor left, tellin' the guards keep their eyes peeled fer some kind of magical monster covered in blood an' guts. He didn't stay fer the whole story."

"Just fuckin spit it out Merle."

"Blood Rogue ain't a blood soaked man, baby brother. Blood Rogue is a girl."
