And so we were running. Hand in hand we went, trying to outrun the paparazzi so that we could finally have a minute alone.

"Quick, in here!" Finn said while pulling down down another street suddenly.
"Finn, where are you taking me?" I said, out of breath.

"Just trust me okay, I need to show you this place. You'll understand when we get there".
It was currently pitch black at night and I could barley see where we were going.

We turned another sharp corner and suddenly stopped. The paparazzi were there, in front of us. There were more of them.

"Not again" I mumbled, as Finn pulled me along into another direction. We kept going until we reached the end of the road. I expected it to be the end, but Finn lead me into an alleyway and through a small opening in the wall.

"Okay I think we lost them". He said, while breathing heavily.

"That took a while, they sure can be persistent when they want to be." I stated.

"Tell me about it" he answered.

I started to walk ahead when Finn stopped me.

"Hey- are you sure you're okay?" He said.

"I got really worried about you. I've never seen you like that before". He said

"Yeah... one thing kind of lead to another until before we knew it I was having a full blown panic attack.. It was just a shock that's all". I explained.

"I doubt that's all it was, Hazel. I can see it in your face-you're scared as hell"

"Hush Wolfhard, Where are you taking me anyways?" I asked

We had reached a more suburban looking area, something that I was ashamed to say that I was not too used to.

The streets were blissfully quiet to my surprise but you could still hear the faint echo of the LA traffic.

"I'm taking you to see some of my friends,I think you'll really like them" Finn said with a grin on his face.

At the thought of that, I got excited. I finally get to hang around some normal people besides the rich snobs from school.

"I'm sorry it's probably a bad idea and you might not like it but they've helped me through some of the toughest times and I was hoping that they could help you too". He explained

We neared the entrance of a normal looking house that was painstakingly normal. We walked up the driveway and knocked on the door. The faint sound of laughter shined through the cracks of the doors, with the warm light of the lamps making its way towards us.

"Come in!" A male voice shouted.

"Wait- did you bring snacks? If you didn't bring snacks this time bitch ass then I swear to god"

A more feminine voice sounded.

"Enjaya shut up he's not alone!" Another deep voice said

"Exactly, You'll scare her off before she even walks through the door" Said another

"Well that would be a new record" Finn said beside me.

The faintest sign of a smile was showing through. Whoever these people are, they sounded fucking awesome.

We opened the door and walked inside towards where the voices were coming from. As we entered the room, I saw there was a group of mostly boys and a couple of there girlfriends. The scene looked like something straight out of the 70s. There were guitars and record players turning and kids all fitting into one room sitting on the couch, on the floor, on the tv stand, all with a can in their hands. It was such a heartwarming sight, the inclusive nature, the banter and just a bunch of kids (some stoners) sitting around enjoying each other's company.
