Chapter 6: "We're drug dealers, not thieves !"

The idea that crossed Alex's mind was dangerous, he knew it. But the money they will gain thanks to it will help not only Ruby and her mother, but also Alex and his brothers in the drug dealing. Alex was really excited now, he couldn't sleep. He had to tell someone. He took his phone and checked on the time: 3:30 am. Maybe Cameron is still awake. 

Alex walked towards he's older brother's room. He slowly opened the door, not even knocking. Cameron was awake, playing video games

"You ok bro ?" Cameron asked when he saw Alex standing at the door frame

"Cameron, I need to tell you something"

Cameron turned the TV off and told Alex to sit down on his bed next to him. Alex started to speak

"Listen, it's long. Ruby's mother is really sick. That's why she needs money. So I have an idea. You know that super expensive jewelry shop on fifth avenue, it's called Cartier... ?"

"Yes... I do"' Cameron started, being really impatiente

" We are going to steal every single jewelry in it and sell it afterwards !" Alex said excitingly

"NO WAY" Cameron said straight after

Alex was disapointed. He thought that Cameron would follow him on this one. But Alex wasn't going to give up.

"Cameron ! Why not ? It's a great idea come on we need that money as much as Ruby does !" Alex argued.

"Alex this is insane ! And dangerous ! Don't you realise that if we get caught we're in huge troubles ?!" Cameron argued back, speaking up

"We're already dealing drug ! Our lives are living troubles ! Stealing or not won't change anything !"

Just when Cameron was about to speak, Ashton entered the room

"Damn boys won't you shut up it's 4 in the morning !" Ashton said in a sleepy voice

"This idiot wants to do a hold up in that expensive jewelry shop on fith avenue !" Cameron said blaming Alex

Ashton's eyes lit up

"Bro that's an awesome idea !" Alex and Ashton high fived.

Cameron was standing still totally shocked, Ashton was the oldest of the 3, how could he be so immature ?

In the other room, Ruby heard it all. She was shocked at first. But it was a great idea, she had to admit. Since all the boys were in Cameron's room, she decided to join them. She wanted to know more and show that she was just as excited as Alex and Ashton. She left the room and entered Cameron's. The three shirtless boys were arguing. It was Alex and Ashton against Cameron. They looked at her. She was in Alex's shirt and Cameron's sweatpants.

"She's here ! Now let's tell her I'm sure she'll agree with us" Ashton said

"I heard what you said, and.... My God what an idea ! I'm with you Alex !" Ruby said smiling excitingly

"Ruby what the fuck ?!" Cameron was shocked

Alex and Ashton laughed, super happy that Ruby liked the idea.

The four of them argued for one more hour. Yes, it was dangerous, very dangerous. But if they do it right, it will go well. They were aware of the risks, but the benefits were bigger. Cameron was still not that excited, and they all knew that if Cameron wasn't in, they couldn't do it. It was 5 in the morning when they stopped talking. They watched 21 jump street in Cameron's room, all crammed in his bed. Ruby fell asleep on Alex's chest.

Ruby woke up the next morning to the smell of bacon and pancakes. She looked around and noticed she was laying in between Alex and Ashton. She slowly left the bed not waking up the two weirdos. In the kitchen, Cameron was making coffee.

"Morning" She said, smiling

"Hello" Cameron said, blankly

There was something in his voice, that Ruby didn't like. At first she thought it was because of the all the stealing shit

"Is everything ok ?" She asked, worried.

"No it's fucking not !" He yelled, scaring Ruby "Sorry"

"Don't be, just tell me what's wrong" 

"That friend, the one who usually sells me the drug we deal... Well he's in jail ! He got caught ! We can't deal anymore we have nothing !" He said in one breath

Ruby didn't know how to feel. It was awful. No more dealing ? No more money. 

"SERIOUSLY ?" Said Alex that heard what Cameron said was in pure shock. "Ruby please go wake Ashton up we all need to talk"

Ruby did as told. She went to Cameron's room and hit with a pillow the blond guy sleeping in the bed.

"Fuck off" He said turning his back

"Wake up idiot ! We're in deep shit !"

He turned around, looked at Ruby, and woke up. Once the four of them were in the living room, they started to talk. Cameron being the first

"In jail, Josh is in fucking jail !"

"How come ?" Ashton asked

"He was buying the drug, that's when the cops came, they got him" Cameron answered

"Did they get the guy he has the drug from ?" Alex said

"No, I don't think so" Cameron answered, understanding were Alex was going

"Then we should find him and buy the drug directly from him !" Alex said

" He's too big ! We don't have enough money for him he sells in enormous quantities" Cameron said desperatly

" Then we all know what to do" Ruby said, looking at them through her eyelashes

The three boys looked at her, wondering what will go next

"Cartier, let's steal the shit out of it" Ruby said, confident, with a steady voice

The boys looked at each other, smirking.
